Long Events

Hi,

I love the events calendar plugin and it works really well. I may consider moving to pro as my clients have spotted an annoying issue on their website. When you are at the main events page: https://www.mcrgreater.co.uk/events/, all you see are old events that don’t finish until e.g december. These events tend to always be displayed on top of the page but have an old date e.g if the event starts on the 21/07/17 and ends on 18/12/17, the events looks out-dated a few weeks later. Is there a way in the plugin for the dates on long running events to be automatically updated so that they always show today’s date? Is this something that I can find on the pro version of the plugin?

Unfortunately, there is not currently an out of the box way to change this behavior (in the free version or in Pro), but it could be done via a customization. While we do not do customizations, our themer’s guide has some great info on customizing our plugins if you’d like to give it a shot! We are also happy to answer questions and help point our premium users in the right direction over in our premium support forums. Plus, we have a list of recommended developers if you’d like to get help with the code.
