ParticipantHello, I have the “Require users to log in before they purchase tickets” unchecked but it is still showing this on the front end. I can still bypass by putting in “1” and Buy now. After I proceed with payment and order is paid it should automatically return to my success page I created (and I did put in the shortcode they provided me with) but it doesnt until I click go back to merchant. When it does go back to that page it comes up with a message saying “No order confirmation is available because no purchase was made.”
Thank you in advance for looking into this!

KeymasterHi Michael,
I’m sorry to hear that you’re having issues with this. I will try to help figure it out.
Could you first try disabling all non Events Calendar plugins and switch to the Twenty Seventeen theme temporarily to see if this is related to a theme or plugin conflict? You can read more about the process here. If you don’t have a testing environment, you can use a plugin like WP Staging to quickly create one.
Also, which payment gateway are you using? Woo vs EDD vs Tribe Commerce…
Thanks,

ParticipantHi, thanks for getting back to me!
I am just Tribe Events calendar and tickets pro. So I assume Tribe commerce, since WooCommerce is deactivated. I did test on the staging site, deactivated all plugins and used 2017 theme and after paypal purchase I should get redirected to a success page to print ticket, but at paypal when I click return to merchant it just bring me back to home page. Also I do have a success page witht he shortcode setup. Thanks!

KeymasterMichael,
Thanks for the additional information. When switching to default theme and disabling plugins, does the login notice still show? These two issues are distinct, so we need to make sure we check both when doing the conflict testing.
As to the redirect issue: can you tell me what you have selected in the Events > Settings > Tickets > “Success Page”?
Thanks,

ParticipantHi Sky,Yes the login notice shows up if a user isnt logged in. I cant check on the test version since you have to be logged in to view the test content.
Regarding the success page I went to Events > Settings > Tickets > “Success Page” and selected a page I created with this shortcode: [tribe-tpp-success]
Essentially what I need is for users to be directed to a page where they can print there ticket or something. Or else how would they have proof they just paid $65 for a ticket?

KeymasterMichael,
Can you explain what you mean by “I cant check on the test version since you have to be logged in to view the test content.” We are testing to see if the notice shows for users that are NOT logged in. We need to check this on the staging site that you have created. Can you let me know the outcome of looking at the staging site with the Twenty Seventeen theme enabled and all non Events Calendar plugins disabled, while not logged in to the site. Does the “You must be logged in” message still show?
When you are testing the confirmation page redirect, are you getting confirmation from paypal that the order went through correctly? I’m wondering if the sale is actually going through, and if not, this may be why it is not redirecting.
Thanks,

ParticipantHi Sky, so yes I can confirm that this message comes up when users are not logged in on 2017 theme and no plugins. I dont want them to have to login to buy these tickets.
And the order is going through because paypal is taking money from my account and I am getting an order confirmation.

KeymasterMichael,
Thanks for providing that. I set your reply as “private” to protect your information. Looking at your settings, the values related to both of your issues seem to be configured properly in the database.
Can you please provide a link to the same event on the staging site with Twenty Seventeen theme enabled and all non events calendar plugins disabled? I would like to confirm that the login link is still showing with these conditions.
I am asking around about the issue with the redirect to see if anyone has encountered something like this before.
Thanks,

ParticipantThanks again Sky. Here is the link to the development. You need to login to see the development with this staging plugin:

P: Rcmp0123@@!Thing is you are logged in… so you wont be able to see what a user who is not logged in sees.

KeymasterIn the WP Staging settings there is a checkbox for “Disable admin authorization.” This will allow viewing the site without being logged in. Please check this and save the settings.

KeymasterGreat, thank you for doing that. Sure enough, there it is.
I’m going to have someone else take a look at this ticket later today. I’ll get back to you by tomorrow with an update.
Thanks for your patience!
