MemberHey John,
Thank you for reaching out to us!
To be able to import events from multiple sources (including .ics files), you’ll need to purchase a license for Event Aggregator. By default, The Events Calendar and Events Calendar Pro will only allow you to import events only from .csv files.
I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions and I’ll be happy to assist! 🙂
Regards,
Patricia

ParticipantI wish the documentation on that had been clearer, that is the reason I extended the PRO licence. Is there any chance I can transfer the purchase?

ParticipantOK, now I’m actually more confused.
My account indicates that the Aggregator licence is covering licence extension to both URL’s that I am using. Furthermore, when I loaded the PRO plugin it placed the Agregator licence in automatically on its own.

Participanthi Patricia, so I’ve checked the import for both 121KSW, and Ennisclare which both use the same Aggregator license. The 121KSW does work, the Ennisclare (which is the account we have been working on) does not work. Any ideas?

MemberHi John,
I’m sorry to know you are still having problems to import your events. Do you see any errors while trying to import? Can you please send us a screenshot and/or the file you are trying to import so we can further investigate your case?
Regards,
Patricia

MemberHi John,
Thanks for sending us these screenshots! Before we proceed with our troubleshoot process, I would like to mention that in working.jpg, that error refers to a different calendar plugin (Events Calendar WD) which is not developed/supported by us.
Regarding the Aggregator license that is still not working on ennisclarecorporatecentre.com, can you please access your account and in the licenses section check if your site URL is listed under Event Aggregator? If your site is still not listed there, please access your Dashboard on ennisclarecorporatecentre.com, head over to Events -> Settings -> Licenses, add your license key there and don’t forget to press the “Save Changes” button in the end of the page.
I’ve just created a new site to test if my own license works on multiple WordPress installs and everything is working as expected.
If the site URL is listed in your account and the License key is correctly setup in your Dashboard, there’s probably a theme/plugin conflict, so to further investigate, I would suggest you to follow this tutorial to determine if a conflict is happening and find out what is causing it.
I hope this helps!
Let me know if you need anything else in the meantime.
Regards,
Patricia

ParticipantThe URL and the licence is being displayed correctly at both ends. If the WD import plugin is providing the import function what is the aggregator for?

MemberHi John,
Thanks for your confirmation on this!
As a next step in our troubleshooting process, can you please flush your transients and verify if Event Aggregator works as expected after that?
You can flush your transients using a plugin like Transients Manager or via server, using WP-CLI. You can flush all of your transients (WordPress will repopulate them as necessary), or just the one associated with our plugin: “tribe_aggregator_origins”.
We believe that this transient cached the response from our server informing that your license is still not present/activated in your site, even though it is.
Let me know if this solution works for you and/or if you need anything else in the mean time!
Regards,
Patricia

MemberHey,
Just wanted to share with you that a new maintenance release is out, containing a fix for this issue ?
These are the improvements shipped for Events Aggregator this release:
- Fix – Avoid Event Aggregator previews or scheduled imports being marked as failures.
- Fix – Fixed an issue that would sometimes render Event Aggregator options invalid even with a valid license.
- Fix – Fixed an issues where Event Aggregator scheduled imports could not run other than manually.
- Tweak – Improve Event Aggregator message regarding Facebook token expiration.
- Tweak – Support importing from URLs (Event Aggregator) where the protocol hasn’t been specified by defaulting to HTTP.
- Tweak – Added filter: tribe_aggregator_meta_source to filter the Event Aggregator import source.
- Tweak – Added filter: tribe_events_linked_post_meta_values_{$current_linked_post_meta_key} for filtering the array of values retrieved for a specific linked post meta field.
