ParticipantWell I’ve read several articles about Google Maps and its API settings. At first Google Maps were working but now nothing, just a gray box. See this URL
I’ve inserted the code snippet into my functions.php. Nothing.
What next?

ParticipantSome additions:
Just like in the other threads on this issue, I have renewed my API with Google several times. I am using the Avada theme and have entered the Goolgle API in the Avada Theme Options. And the very same API is set in the “override” function in my theme’s functions.php. Still nothing.
I have tried checking and unchecking the latitude and longitude box in the venue and I have numerous times clicked the “fix venues data” in the Events > General > Settings page and I get the two messages (image attached as well):
“The latitude and longitude for your venue could not be fetched. The Google Maps API daily query limit has been reached!” and “Fixed geolocation data for 11 venues” The second in green does sound hopeful.
Help very much appreciated.

MemberHi Jonathan. Thanks for the screenshot and link.
There are several issues here.
1)
I visited the link and noticed console errors at your site: https://cl.ly/2o3m1L1U3S1U
(If needed, you may reference our KB article Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.)
2)
I see from your System Information that you did enter a Google Maps API key, which is good.
If you’re getting the daily query limit when geocoding Venue addresses, you’ll either need to sign up for a paid account with Google, or possibly wait until the next day.
Do you have an estimate of how many new Venues you created (i.e. tried to geocode) in a single day? Or do you think it could be your site getting so many page/map views as the cause for going over the limit?

To resolve #1, I’d suggest following our recommended troubleshooting steps:
Could you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions?
Once you verify you’re on the latest versions, please test to see if the issue is still happening for you.
If it is, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide (basically switch to TwentySixteen theme and deactivate all plugins and custom code other than Modern Tribe plugins) and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.
If it doesn’t, please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share any PHP errors you see while changing tickets quantity, navigating your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and any other of your site’s pages relevant to this ticket.
Then, please re-share your System Information (while in Testing for Conflicts mode).
Let us know what you find out.
Thanks.

ParticipantSuccess!
After returning to my theme, back from the 2016 Theme testing, maps are working everywhere! Maybe just turning everything off and then on again did the trick.
Maybe fixed for now? I will hold my breath…
Thank you Cliff. I believe the issue is resolved for now.

MemberI’m glad to hear that. Thanks for letting me know.
P.S. I see from your system information you’re using the HTML Before Events. You might be interested in this Event Widget Areas plugin.
