Facebook Cover Images not importing

Hi there

I use Event Aggregator since the old Plugin is not supported any more. So, when i imported my FB-Events the first time, all seemed to work – BUT – no Cover Images are imported anymore.

Example:
FB-Event: https://www.facebook.com/events/765714833583618/
Imported Event: http://www.dukes.ch/event/tanznacht-ue40-4/

This topic seemed to be discussed already here, but no solution showing up:

Is this a bug, or is this caused by configuration issue?

Hi Lukas,

So sorry for the trouble here!

There is indeed a known issue about this where Event Aggregator is not properly importing the featured image from imported Facebook events.

I checked on the ticket and it is currently in progress and planned for an upcoming maintenance release. I will mark this thread Pending Fix and we will be sure to follow-up with you here when the issue has been resolved.

Hello!

I wanted to post a quick note here that we have published a new Maintenance Release today that should restore the Event Aggregator that lets Facebook event images get imported as “Featured Images” into WordPress.
