    I have an Upcoming Events widget on my home page. The links to the non-recurring events work fine. The links to recurring events give me a 404.

    Welcome back to the forums 🙂

    Sorry to hear about the issue. The first couple things I can think of would be to read through our Testing for conflicts article and Fixing HTTP 404 errors as well.

    Let me know if either of these provide a solution. If not, we’ll continue troubleshooting. Thanks for choosing PRO and have a good week!

    Also, I’m curious if it’s because I have named the custom post type hermann-missouri-events instead of a singular term.

    Hey Lee,

    Thanks for the update. Have you tried running through the steps I recommended in my first response? If not, please go ahead and try that just for good measure. There is a good possibility you are experiencing 404s due to the – in your events slug; but try all that out and if you still get the error, I’ll try reproducing it. If I’m able to, I’ll add this thread to the already logged ticket.

    Hi Hunter,
    I changed the slug to NOT include dashes (-) and everything works fine. Is no one else using dashes in their slugs? I use it for SEO purposes. Anyway, if you can let me know if you recreate the issue, I’d appreciate it and how to fix.

    Just wanted to jump in here and let you know that we released Events Calendar PRO 4.0.6 last night and it included a fix for this issue. Please check your WordPress updates, or you can also grab the latest copy by logging into this site and heading to My Account > Downloads.
