    Hi there,

    I have a site where we have multiple event organisers and now people want to start charging for events.

    What I want to do is:

    > manage permissions so that individuals can only create new events or modify their own events
    > sell tickets, but allow each event to have a different payment email address (for PayPal) and a customisable set of confirmation emails

    Will the Event Calendar Pro combined with Tickets Plus do this?

    Hi Joan,

    Thanks for checking out our plugins! Using Event Tickets Plus in combination with Community Events and Community Tickets, you could allow users to create events and sell tickets on them from the front end of your site, without having to give them admin access. By default, users can only edit their own events. Each individual organizer will be required to enter their PayPal information (you can read more about that here), and you can then decide how the money from ticket sales is divvied up – all money goes directly to the appropriate event organizer, the money is split between the organizer and the site admin (if you choose to charge a fee), or all money goes to the site admin. This article has some more information on how this works. I would also recommend taking a look at this article for more details on how ticket sales and payments are handled in Community Tickets.

    By default, users will receive two emails when they purchase tickets: one from our plugin with the actual tickets, and one from the eCommerce platform (either WooCommerce or Easy Digital Downloads) confirming the order. Unfortunately there is only one template for ticket emails, which you can edit, but it would require a more in-depth customization to generate custom emails for each event.

    Events Calendar Pro does add some great features, but you would not need it for the functionality you outlined above. We do offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase, so if you’d like to test out any of our premium plugins, feel free to do so!
