ParticipantI’m having trouble getting my event listing shortcode to display. I tried using both the category filter and the id filter but neither seem to render.
Shortcode can be seen here: http://ttycareercollege.edu/get-project-management-certified/September 12, 2016 at 8:46 pm #1163191Hunter
ModeratorHey Charles,
Welcome back. Would you mind sharing the exact shortcode you’re having troubles with? Also, can you review our Testing for conflicts guide to see if the issue still occurs?
Let me know and have a great evening. Cheers 🙂

ParticipantIt seems to work when I switch to the 2016 theme, http://ttycareercollege.edu/why-project-management/ this is where I am using it on my page.

ModeratorCharles,
Thank you for the update and sharing the shortcode with me. I’m really not sure why the shortcode isn’t working with your custom theme active. Have you done any general search queries on Google about shortcodes not working with custom themes? I’d also recommend reaching out to your theme author to see if they have any insight on the matter. Theme conflicts unfortunately extend beyond what we’re able to cover here on the forums.
If you wouldn’t mind, send over your System Information as a private reply. I also noticed the quotation marks in the shortcode you shared with me could be the reason it’s not working. Try copy/pasting this into the page you want it displayed on and let me know if it makes any difference: [tribe_events_list tas=”#18″]
Have a great day. Cheers 🙂

ModeratorWelcome back,
Thank you for sharing that info with me. I took a look and don’t see any red flags that would cause the shortcode from not appearing. Have you tried contacting your theme author to see if they can provide any assistance? It looks like you’ll have to take the reigns from here as we’re unable to support theme conflicts. If you need, we have a list of customizers that can help as well.
Sorry I can’t do more here and best of luck resolving the conflict. Enjoy the rest of your day. Cheers 🙂

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
