We have a significant number of duplicate venues and events. After some research I found this thread:

that says the issue has been fixed. However, we are still seeing multiple venues being created in the database even if the venue was only entered one time. I created a recurring event (7 instances) with the same venue and while I only input the venue one time, it created 7 venues. I tried to delete the duplicates and 6 of the 7 occurrences suddenly did not have a venue at all.

I haven’t seen this reported like you’re describing, and it’s not currently a known issue so I’d suggest following these recommended troubleshooting steps for your own site:
There might be some new updates available. Could you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions?
- Downloads / Version Numbers
- License Keys
- TEC Automatic Updates
- or TEC Manual Updates
- WordPress core updates
Once you verify you’re on the latest versions, please test to see if the issue is still happening for you.
If it is, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide (basically switch to Twenty Seventeen theme and deactivate all plugins and custom code other than Modern Tribe plugins) and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.
If it doesn’t, please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share any debug messages you see while trying to replicate this issue and doing other things on your site relevant to this ticket.
If it is still happening in Testing for Conflicts mode, please send a screenshot of each instance of each of the duplicated Venue (including the URL to see the Post ID).
