    ECP Support

    Hope all is well.

We love ECP and rely on it exclusively.
We are using the ModernTribe EC, ECP + Facebook Events plugins in this site:
    http://unionsquarelive.org/

All plugins are current versions and activated with a current developer license key.

We recently upgraded EC + ECP to version 4.1.1 and FBE to v4.1.

The CALENDAR has disappeared on the front end of the site and we are getting a 404 ERROR when we try to LINK to the calendar from the front end or back end of WP.

This customer is launching their SPRING program this week and we need to be able to display events from Facebook.
Can you please advise on how to resolve this ASAP?

    Your assistance is appreciated.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.

    PP

    Hi,

Sorry for the delay here we are backed up due to an illness and jury duty for a couple members on the support team.

Have you run through our 404 Error guide to see if that helps?

    Fixing HTTP 404 errors

Also, have you tried changing the Events Template in the settings?

    Head to this page:

Events > Settings > Display Tab

    Then change this setting:

Events Template to Default Page Template

Let me know if either of those help or we can go from here.

    Thanks

    Hi,

For sure we need to get this resolved with you.

Details if you need to noodle around

    I appreciate the offer!

However, our current policy is not to accept logins or to log in to customer servers/WordPress installations.

I am not seeing any other reports of this. So it looks to be unique to your site.

Can you please follow our testing for conflicts guide:

Testing Conflicts With Themes and Other Plugins

And see if that can narrow down the cause of this.

    Thanks

    Hi Brian

    Troubleshooting below executed.

Step 1) Switch to the Twenty Fifteen theme.
Step 2) Disable all plugins except Tribe Events plugins.
Step 3) Clear your browser cache, and retest.
    ALL ABOVE = DONE

Step 1) Switch back to your original theme, retest.
Step 2) Re-enable your plugins one at a time, retest between each.
    ALL ABOVE = DONE

    Theme Override: NONE
JavaScript Error: NONE — BLANK CHROME CONSOLE WINDOW/INSPECTOR
Out-of-date Plugins/Theme/WordPress: ALL CURRENT AND UP-TO-DATE —INCLUDING WOO CANVAS FRAMEWORK
    ALL ABOVE = DONE

Changed the Events Template in the settings:
Events > Settings > Display Tab

    Change this setting:
Events Template to Default Page Template
    ALL ABOVE = DONE

    AND here’s the deal.
When we try to LINK to the calendar from the back end of WP in EVENTS > SETTINGS > HERE’S YOUR CALENDAR, that goes to a 404 page

If you search the site for EVENTS, you get an index of OLD EVENTS and POSTS. Click on an EVENT and it will display on the front end of the site.
If you click on the link at the top of the SINGLE EVENT post, “ALL EVENTS” it goes off to 404.
Links at the bottom of a SINGLE EVENT to PREVIOUS or NEXT EVENT works and goes to the event and displays on the front end of the site.

Did you view the event views (month, etc) with Twenty Fifteen theme active and it was not working then?

Also, if you need the events backup you can try downgrading to the last working version for you.

You can download the older versions from your account here on theeventscalendar.com

Older versions of the core plugin here:
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar/developers/

And follow these steps to manually update:

    Manual Updates

That process does not delete nor change settings or events, but it is always a good idea to backup just in case.
