Calendar and List styling / Show sidebar

Hi,

I recently purchased The Event Calendar Pro, it is a great plugin but I expected that customizing the calendar and list view will be more easier and flexible.
Please advise regarding:
1- I want to use the list in my website, how I can apply the same styling as your Demo styling (http://wpshindig.com/events/list/), the default layout is not very attractive (https://www.everteam.com/en/events/)?
2- is it possible to show by default not only the upcoming events, but a list of all events in this month ?
3- is it possible to show the right sidebar in the main events page without the need to apply extra coding ( I don’t have the right to edit any php files) ?

Please note that I am using Enfold WordPress Theme.

Hey there

I see you are using the Enfold theme. They have built in custom integration with our plugin that impacts how your list view is displaying. If you compare it to WP Shindig or any default Twenty _______ themes on WordPress.org, you’ll see the list view you are expecting. To modify that layout, I’d suggest reaching out to Enfold to see if they have a suggestion to revert to the expected list view.

Finally, to handle showing the sidebarm, test how your /events page looks when you change these settings: Events » Settings » Display »

Please do keep in mind, these suggestions apply to expected displays of the list view. I’m not sure if they will work the same with Enfold.

Hey there

Just checking, did you also install Events Calendar Pro? I do see you have a license for it, but just noticed that I don’t see it in your System Info. You can download it at My Account » Downloads and upload it to Plugins from your dashboard. The license will be automatically applied that way.

Yes Events Calendar Pro is installed and activated (check attached).
do I have to deactivate The Events Calendar, is it possible somehow that the PRO plugin is not working?

Hi!

You defnitely need The Events Calendar activated in order to use Events Calendar Pro.

Have you tested to see if this displays properly while using a different theme, such as Twenty Seventeen https://wordpress.org/themes/twentyseventeen/? If so, reach out to Enfold and ask them if they’ve got a better solution.

I hope we can narrow this down.

Wow, I’m sorry to hear that! Most themes that integrate with our plugins do a great job with it.
