Maintenance Release for the Week of 4 September 2017

Today we’re happy to announce the seventeenth Maintenance Release of 2017. Maintenance Releases are smaller updates between major updates that are mostly comprised of bug fixes, tweaks, and small but meaningful improvements.

The Events Calendar 4.5.12

  • Fix – Fixed an issue where, with certain date formats chosen in the Events display settings, the “Next Month” link navigation wasn’t working (props to @tttammi and others for reporting this issue!)
  • Fix – Fixed a typo in REST API Swagger documentation that mentioned “organizer” when it should have stated “venue”
  • Fix – Fixed issues with Event Aggregator queueing system where events might be duplicated or incorrectly updated
  • Fix – Prevent notice when the Aggregator Record title is an array
  • Fix – Allows Aggregator Google Map settings to extend the Global Setting by default (props to queerio for reporting this!)
  • Fix – Prevent Warnings when throwing WordPress admin notices from Aggregator daily usage limit (props to cigarplanner for reporting this!)
  • Fix – Resolved problem where Aggregator wouldn’t allow you to remove filtering terms for Records
  • Fix – Allow any datepicker format to be used on Aggregator filtering Events (props to matthewseymour for reporting this!)
  • Fix – Added check to see if log directory is readable before listing logs within it (thank you @rodrigochallengeday-org and @richmondmom for reporting this)
  • Tweak – Added method into Date Utils class to allow us to easily convert all datepicker formats into the default one
  • Tweak – Added a filter to customize the list of states in the USA that are available to drop-downs when creating or editing venues
  • Tweak – Datatables Head and Foot checkboxes will not select all items, only the current page
  • Tweak – Included tooltip for Aggregator “Hide & Ignore” button for events
  • Tweak – Added all the Aggregator Origins to the Admin Bar
  • Tweak – Added filters: tribe_get_state_options
  • Tweak – Added template tags: maybe_format_from_datepicker()
  • Language – 2 new strings added, 90 updated, 0 fuzzied, and 1 obsoleted
  • Language (Common) – 3 new strings added, 46 updated, 1 fuzzied, and 4 obsoleted

Events Calendar PRO 4.4.17

  • Fix – Meta building for Recurrence has a few more conditionals to prevent Fatals
  • Fix – Setup postdata in Week view so that the default template tags can be used in theme overrides (thank you ThemeFusion for recommending this!)
  • Fix – Resolved issue where the warning for tickets on recurring events sometimes failed to display
  • Tweak – A hidden input that detects if the event is recurring
  • Tweak – Changed views: pro/week/single-event.php
  • Language – 1 new strings added, 31 updated, 0 fuzzied, and 0 obsoleted

Event Tickets 4.5.5

  • Fix – Fixed issue where RSVP options would often fail to show up on custom post types (thanks to tvtap for reporting this issue!)
  • Fix – Confirm RSVP button not showing when last ticket was out of stock
  • Fix – Fixed issue where email address links were getting http:// prepended in the RSVP list (thank you to @petemorelli for reporting this!)
  • Fix – Resolved issue where tribe_events_count_available_tickets() sometimes returned the wrong stock count (props to Florian for reporting this)
  • Fix – Added check to see if log directory is readable before listing logs within it (thank you @rodrigochallengeday-org and @richmondmom for reporting this)
  • Tweak – RSVP non attendance email filters names are now unique (thanks to solwebsolutions for reporting this!)
  • Tweak – Include full event start and end date in Tickets Email (thank you @pagan11460 for the suggestion!)
  • Tweak – Improve performance of the addition of the “Attendees” row action link in wp-admin list tables (props to pixeldesigns for reporting this!)
  • Tweak – Changed views: tickets/email.php, tickets/orders-link.php, tickets/orders-rsvp.php, and tickets/rsvp.php
  • Tweak – Added filters: tribe_events_set_notice, tribe_rsvp_non_attendance_email_headers, tribe_rsvp_non_attendance_email_attachments, tribe_rsvp_non_attendance_email_recipient, tribe_rsvp_non_attendance_email_subject, and tribe_rsvp_non_attendance_email_content
  • Tweak – Added filters: tribe_event_tickets_plus_email_meta_fields
  • Tweak – Added actions: tribe_tickets_before_front_end_ticket_form
  • Language – 0 new strings added, 53 updated, 0 fuzzied, and 0 obsoleted
  • Language (Common) – 3 new strings added, 46 updated, 1 fuzzied, and 4 obsoleted

Event Tickets Plus 4.5.4

  • Fix – Fixed issue where “Who’s Attending?” list would often fail to show up on custom post types
  • Fix – Fixed dates in Orders report for items with status other than complete
  • Fix – Ensure that if an Attendee is deleted, it cannot be “checked in” (props to ahelman for reporting this!)
  • Tweak – Added new filter tribe_event_tickets_plus_email_meta_fields (thanks @carlosmachado for the suggestion)
  • Tweak – Adjusted multiline option markup for meta fields type text
  • Tweak – Fixed incorrect plugin version in code documentation
  • Tweak – Purge unused meta fields template file
  • Tweak – Changed views: eddtickets/tickets.php and wootickets/tickets.php
  • Tweak – New template tags: unhook_event_tickets_order_link_logic()
  • Language – 1 new strings added, 19 updated, 0 fuzzied, and 0 obsoleted
