Maintenance Release for the Week of 3 December 2018

Welcome! Here is release number 18 of 2018! If this is your first time getting an update from us, Maintenance Releases are smaller updates between major releases and are mostly comprised of bug fixes, tweaks, and small (but meaningful!) improvements. We always recommend using a staging site to test these changes before updating on a live site.

The Events Calendar 4.7.2

  • Feature – Added new action `tribe_events_before_event_template_data_date_display` and `tribe_events_after_event_template_data_date_display`
  • Tweak – Corrected font on time picker components in Event Date Time block
  • Tweak – Adjusted padding on the Event Date Time block
  • Tweak – Set default start time to 8:00am and default end time to 5:00pm in Event Date Time block
  • Fix – Corrected an issue where feature detection of async-process support would fire too many requests
  • Fix – Removed tribe_events_template_data()’s dependency on Events Calendar PRO, which could lead to a fatal error under some conditions
  • Fix – Made the Event Date Time block respect the timezone settings
  • Fix – Removed Price block dashboard gap
  • Fix – Made sure all block editor code for Meta saving is PHP 5.2 compatible
  • Fix – Prevented `undefined` from been displayed at the Event Date Time separator fields
  • Fix – Solved 500 error when trying to update an event

Events Calendar Pro 4.5.1

  • Feature – Added new recurring event marker element for Event Date Time block
  • Tweak – Improved default yearly recurrence rule options to be more intuitive
  • Fix – Adjusted recurrence options in the Event Date Time block to prevent confusion with overlapping elements.
  • Fix – Updated the code responsible for generating recurring event tooltips so it does not interfere with the result of calls to tribe_events_template_data()
  • Fix – Set fallback to default timezone if event timezone is not valid for Countdown Widget
  • Fix – Corrected an issue where a single instance of a recurring events redirected to the series /all page

Event Tickets 4.9.2

  • Feature – Added new action `tribe_tickets_update_blocks_from_classic_editor` to allow for custom actions when updating the tickets blocks
  • Feature – Allowed admin to re-order tickets in the Tickets block
  • Feature – Added ecommerce links to Tickets block
  • Feature – Improved Cancel button UX in Tickets and RSVP blocks
  • Feature – Added option to show or hide the Attendee List block header and subtitle
  • Tweak – Set the availability date pickers in Tickets and RSVP blocks to obey the Datepicker Display Format setting.
  • Fix – Corrected an issue where feature detection of async-process support would fire too many requests
  • Fix – Updated blocks when moving from classic to blocks editor and vice versa
  • Fix – Removed dotted border for the RSVP block when viewed on mobile devices
  • Fix – Made sure all block editor code for Meta saving is PHP 5.2 compatible
  • Fix – Restored Shared Capacity functionality for ET+ users in the Tickets block
  • Fix – Set Tickets block currency symbol from the ecommerce provider settings
  • Fix – Set the Attendee registration field editor to opens in the same tab from block editor
