Howdy all! We’re releasing a quick update here that fixes issues with recurring events pages and 404 errors, as well as some fatal errors that were reported by customers.

This is a minor release that should be smooth sailing when updating. That said, it’s always a good idea to backup your site and test changes in a development environment before installing this on your live site, as you would with any other WordPress update.

Let’s get to the changelogs:

  • Fix – We resolved an issue that prevented the event single in a recurring series from properly loading without a 404. If you continue to experience this issue, go to Settings > Permalinks and click the Save Changes button.
  • Fix –  Fatal errors that are not related to extensions are now solved when doing a batch update of plugins.
  • Fix – It was discovered that selecting a post category redirected users to the default calendar view instead of the currently selected view. We have fixed how post categories and tags are redirected.
  • Fix – We fixed an issue where the mobile breakpoint for the 5.0 redesigned views was conflicting with caching plugins.
