Community Events 4.7.1
Hey folks! Today’s release adds a Terms of Submission for organizers submitting events to your website. This is a great way to set an agreement policy that anyone submitting events to your can needs to review and accept prior to submission.
This is a minor release that should be smooth sailing when updating. That said, it’s always a good idea to backup your site and test changes in a development environment before installing this on your live site, as you would with any other WordPress update.
Here are the detailed changes included in this release:
- Feature – We added the “Terms of Submission” setting to allow requiring accepting the terms before submitting the events form.
- Fix – We fixed a JavaScript validation error when TinyMCE isn’t loaded.
- Tweak – We added a generic JavaScript validation for the event community form.
- Hooks – https://docs.theeventscalendar.com/reference/since/events.community4.7.1/
- Language – 8 new strings added, 169 updated, 0 fuzzied, and 2 obsoleted
