The problem is when viewing on mobile. I have a screenshot but can’t attach to this thread.

    Hi Gustavo.

Still not resolved. Go to map.worldgolfscramble.com.

We need the “Find Events” drop down to automatically drop down as no one is using it.

Please help as this is huge for our business. The majority of people are just going to our first event when we want them searching for an event in their area.

    Thanks so much!

    Hi Brian,

Do you think you might look into changing this across the board in the next update. I agree with Christoffer in regards to just providing the first portion of the address. I’ve had a number of calls on it already from our map.

Not sure if this would be an option, but I think it would be a great add that the entire community would benefit from. Just my thoughts for whatever they’re worth! 🙂

I think I figured out the problem. The address needs to be exact as it is noted in Google Maps. It looks like the individual who posted after me is experiencing a similar problem. Maybe google did an update to their map system overnight, as this is the first time I’ve experienced it.

It definitely would solve my problem if you could just tell me where I need to go to insert this code!

Here’s what I’ve done now to try and compensate for it. I currently have it embedded as an iframe. The only remaining question I have is if it would be possible to hide the Event Title and Event Description portions, as those are both standard for this particular event?

    Hi Geoff,

Thanks for the quick response. I have set the default organizers and venues, but am still in need of adding some sort of default contact to the forms. I have submitted a request for the pre-population features, but have still not heard anything back as to if those will be developed or not. It would be nice if it was as easy as something like Google has developed for their forms.

So I guess that leaves me with the custom development. Is there a guide available as to how I might go about doing this?

The only other options I’ve seen available that might potentially work are related to query strings, but I don’t know if that would work in this case or not?

If we could do it this way, what I would do is hide the following fields:

    Event Title
    Event Description
    Event Categories
    Event Image
    Event Cost

The ones that would be shown would be:

    Event Time and Date
    Venue Details
    Organizer Details
    Event Website

    Would this be possible?

Hi Barry. Do you know where I can get the code for the full form so that I can make the proper edits to it? Is there any way that I can just pay you to do it so I don’t have to go through the process of finding a developer to code it? With what you’re mentioning now, it doesn’t appear that it should be too difficult?

Hi Barry. Thanks for the information. So utilizing the approach you proposed, all that I would need to do is just direct people to a different page and embed a custom form on it?

I was able to find this post that may help to resolve the issue. Would something like this work? If so, how do I go about finding the proper variables to change? Since I don’t want to pre-fill the forms for everyone, I’m wondering if something like this might be the best route to take?

Can I pay someone to make the changes for me? I’m not that great at coding and think you guys could probably do it really quick!

Event if you can’t find a way to remove the fields, it would be great if we could just edit some of the wording! Please let me know as soon as you are able to find something out and thanks so much for your support!

    All the best,

    Paul

You guys are great! I love the humor!

If I could somehow get that theme (or be directed to a similar theme) I would really appreciate it. Right now, I have it set up like this:

I don’t need anything too fancy, just something simple to get the job done and where I can adjust some of the colors.
