Julie DuranParticipantI’ve since added a feature request here:
https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas/suggestions/20016133-display-events-automatically-in-web-visitor-s-timeThe web provides alternative solutions (half baked in my opinion) that should instead be part of a PROFESSIONAL calendar solution. You provide a world map, numerous languages – but not a timezone conversion? That is your core business to inform people of events they they may attend!
Julie DuranParticipantThis still isn’t working for us. Here https://iglesialuteranacristo.com/event/test-event/ I’ve created a test event using the server timezone (COT) which is in Columbia time. I am in Central Time zone Milwaukee Wisconsin. The event displays in COT time and does not convert the event info (time) automatically for my timezone. It is still displaying the event in COT timezone.
What are we doing wrong? (see attached view)
Julie DuranParticipantHi Patricia
I already have pressed the update timezones button a while back. Please give specific settings for this case scenario:I want to enter the event for June 30 at 9am-10am Mt. when a visitor in Colombia sees this event on our site I want the event to automatically appear in his COT time zone.
Which setting specifically makes this possible?
Julie Duran

January 19, 2016 at 7:23 am in reply to: Upgrades applied and filter view issue on 2 of 3 sites #1058670Julie DuranParticipantNico – My thanks but with a caveat.
For the English site, a refresh of permalinks immediately after updating the display filters worked perfectly.
For the Spanish site, this did not work until I changed the backend interface to Spanish as well. You see, I am using a plugin for English speakers to see the dashboard in English even though the site’s language is Spanish. I learned that the permalinks then write in English but the EC links are expecting Spanish. So – while changing the EC settings, and permalink refresh, the site front and backend need to be in Spanish. That worked well.
Backend Language Plugin used:
Just thought you’d benefit as well as others knowing this is an issue that is easily resolved. 😉
Julie DuranParticipantHere’s how I displayed the before-html content above the form page but not above the calendar views… with this CSS:
.tribe_community_list .tribe-events-before-html > p { display:none; }
Julie DuranParticipantBrian, thanks for the lead. The following code worked well for me!
.tribe_community_edit .tribe-events-after-html > p { display:none; }
Hope this helps others. I’m guessing you could do the same with the “before-html” message as well if you want to add instructions at the top of the form but not at the top of the calendar views.
Good stuff!

Julie DuranParticipantOn my support ticket Shaon (author of WPDM) replied: I got an email from event calendar dev, I’ll reply to discuss details with them.
Julie DuranParticipantI am grateful for your support! I’ve posted your response on the open WPDM ticket as well.
Julie DuranParticipantI also just upgraded WPDM to the latest version of 4.1.9. No change.
Julie DuranParticipantIt should be said that on the parent site (WRC) the Events Calendar Pro has been activated – and on the sub site, the ECP has been deactivated.
