ParticipantThanks for the reply,
Would there be anything against to duplicate the event?
If so there is no way to merge the events, eventhough it’s recurring. Instead they will always be shown as different events, right?Cheers

ParticipantAh i was looking in the events settings – not in WP settings itself.
Thanks!

ParticipantI guess it does need some tweaking; i did find this thread later: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/how-can-we-display-the-past-events-on-the-main-list-page-below-the-current/
which gives a rough start i guess..Do you guys do customizations also?
Cheers!

ParticipantHi there,
Theme author’s state that AJAX can be turned off (itโs only for a transition effect between pages).
So it should be all good.
Thanks

ParticipantHey,
thanks for checking. But i’ll stick to the menu-redirect as best workaround.
(Still think it’s a good idea to have an option to choose an url yourself ๐ )
issue resolved

ParticipantThanks,
I can redirect, but then the url still shows in the addressbar i presume? For now i gave the menu link a different name, that points to the /events/map. I guess that yields the same result?

ParticipantThanks for the reply
This helps – sorta,
I did set [mysite]/events as default and for a second page [mysite]/events/maps, but i prefer to keep something like [mysite]/maps
Both pages will be in the main menu, so i want to keep the names accordingly. And i basically only need the map to show on this second page.
Hope this is possible. Thanks!
