ParticipantWell, I would say that is way too involved for me. I would want to have dev. support on this. I’ll add it in as a feature request. At any rate, thank you for the lengthy and thorough response. I will save this for reference in case I decide to take that route.

ParticipantThanks for checking in. I think my question may have been in two threads so my apologies that this was left open! I resolved this issue by increasing the memory/ cache allocated to this wordpress installation. It’s hosted locally with Mamp right now… After I gave it more memory, EVERYTHING fixed!!

ParticipantI fixed all the problems- seemingly plugin incompatabilities, the NEXT/PRevious buttons in the calendar mode… all by increasing the memory allocation to WordPress. I followed the instructions here: http://wpengine.com/support/debug-mode-warning/
Peppermint Soda
ParticipantI turned on the debugging reporting and found that WordPress needed more memory to run- I Upped the memory and it looks like everything is working fine now- even the NEXT / PREVIOUS buttons! and I can use Events Calendar Pro now also.

ParticipantNeill, My new thread is here:

I have not gotten any response yet. Can you look into this?

ParticipantGood morning. I’m hoping that this issue can get resolved today as it is really hanging up a site launch. Thank you for your attention to this matter-
Peppermint Soda
ParticipantOK. I’ll start a new thread about my issues with the next/previous. Thank you.

ParticipantJulie- I commented on the other thread (https://tri.be/support/forums/topic/next-month-button-in-lower-right-corner-not-advancing-to-next-month/) The patch of code posted on Github and placed into a functions.php file worked for Events Calendar but the admin and site turn white when Events Calendar Pro are turned on. This did not happen before the bit of patch code was added. Just FYI, I made another functions.php file with just the github patch code in it and put it in my child theme folder- rather than editing the original functions.php file.

ParticipantThis fix worked for Events Calendar but Not Events Calendar Pro.
I had a similar issue and posted about it at the bottom of another thread someone had already started. I found that this was a fix for Events Calendar but when I turn on Events Calendar Pro, the admin dashboard turns to White and everything below the header on the website does too. I really like Events Calendar Pro and I need it to work!! Clearly there are other people with the same problems.Peppermint Soda
ParticipantI have the same problem using a child theme of the popular Avada theme. The line of code in my header.php file looks like this:
<body <?php body_class(array($avada_color_scheme,$body_class)); ?>>
It works fine if I turn off the PRO version- but I really need to and want to use the PRO version.
The site I have it on is hosted locally at present.Peppermint Soda
ParticipantThanks for chiming in on the “resolving conflict” methodology. It’s hard because plugins are 3rd party- Thanks for the support.

ParticipantI resolved the issue via the link I embedded above. I needed to change an option indigenous to the theme. . . However, I would be incredibly thankful if you had an opinion about methodology to resolve plugin conflicts when they arise. Once you’ve identified the conflict, what are your options:
• Stop using one and switch to something else (this is not reasonable when you have an investment in the plugin and data related to it like the Events Calendar has)
• Fix it (HOW??)Thank you~
