SandroParticipant
Hi, with custom fields I mean, additional fields of events calendar. I’ve set-up quite number of them. And completely disabled venue/organiser

http://imageshack.us/a/img90/8008/screenshot20130530at339.pngobviously I will have to modify your plugin to accomodate all these fields. But I’d like to have your opinion as developer, how hard will it be to extend existing plugin vs writing a completely new one? I mean if I use yours and have to rewrite all to get required functionality makes no sense, but if architecture of plugin is well done and I can easily add my requirements… THis is my question 🙂
SandroParticipantI see.
So I’ve two options now, get more posts and use end_date to filter out past events with php.
Or modify query, take get_posts and use it with orderby meta_key value combination. But I looked into DB, and it seems second option is less viable. As events calendar doesn’t save end date as a separate value.
Any ideas how to make second option work?SandroParticipantI see, thank you for the reply.
For the sheer volume of events that we have per day it will be impossible to use proposed solution.I will try to build a custom query.
But when will 3.0 be out? I’ve heard about it 3 month ago already, approx. when are you gonna show it to us? 🙂

SandroParticipantDarius, as I’ve noted in that ticket, I solved single day view by this code:
http://pastebin.com/U6Dp3nBd
Where $current_url_date is taken from the url.I was not able to fix upcoming events list though, is that what you mean?
SandroParticipantI’d like it to come up at the top of the listing.
November 30, 2012 at 5:54 am in reply to: jquery tooltip bug when switching from month to month. #28741SandroParticipantI think it could be my css.
I will update plugin to latest version first and see if problem remains.

SandroParticipantglad to hear it is being improved in 3.0
I tried code you provided, but it had some problems, it would skip multiday events from the list.
I changed start date to end date. So if event ends before cutoff date it is not listed. My final code is something like: http://pastebin.com/U6Dp3nBd
I could not make it work on upcoming events page, hence the conditional… on upcoming events page past and future events would not display correctly.
SandroParticipant“Multiday Event Cutoff setting is only intended to affect gridviews, not upcoming events.”
But shouldn’t upcoming events be filtered according to current time?
http://holiday.ge/en/events/upcoming/How is it possible that system displays to me events for
Start: November 23, 2012 10:00 pm
End: November 24, 2012 5:00 amWhen current time is: November 24, 2012 9:48 pm?
Event ended almost 12 hours ago, and is surely not “upcoming”.Can you confirm again that this is expected behaviour? Seems very strange to me.
SandroParticipantGreat! btw search isn’t very powerful on this forum 🙂 I can’t find anything usually.
SandroParticipant1. Server time was off, so I had to set in wordpress correct timezone. Now timing on upcoming events seems to be correct! So this solved.
2. I’m still having issues with multiday events. For calendar it works fine, I set 6AM as multiday cutoff time. But on list view this setting doesn’t seem to have effect.
For example: http://holiday.ge/events/2012-11-18/
You can see here events that start 17, 2012.I’m checking plugins but till now didn’t notice anyplugin conflict.
SandroParticipantI’ve similar problem, upcoming filter for me is not working. I’ve past events showing up in widget with code similar to yours and also in list.php
https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/single-day-view-displaying-past-day-events/
There is a bug I think.
SandroParticipantHi,
This is kind of urgent… please!
SandroParticipantEasiest way to see the problem:
Lists 2 events: http://holiday.ge/events/2012-11-12/
Calendar lists only 1 for 12 nov http://holiday.ge/events/ -
