Hi Cliff,
I’ve attached the screenshots requested. Here are links to sample events that have the text “Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh” set as the value of the field in question:

Thanks!
remakelearningParticipantHi Victor,
It must have something to do with a customization I made. I’ve made quite a few customizations, so it will be hard to track down what might be interfering with that code snippet. I have a custom JS-based solution that only allows the user to pick from a specific date range, which should be sufficient for my purposes.
remakelearningParticipantThank you Andras — that seems to have done the trick.
I noted the address issue as well, I’ve seen that pop up a few times as we have users submitting events.

remakelearningParticipantHi Nico,
I updated all of the software yesterday, and reapplied the patch that was found in this thread. It still doesn’t seem to be working.
Thanks
remakelearningParticipantThanks Andras,
Unfortunately, I tried everything you said and still no “Fix venues” button. I’m using the latest versions of Events Calendar, EC Pro, Community Events, and Filter Bar — if that helps.
remakelearningParticipantThanks Andras — is there a way that I can fix these in bulk?
I know there is supposed to be a “Fix venues data” button on the setting page, but it seems to be missing for some reason?
Fix Venue Data
The Events Calendar has a built-in feature that checks for broken venue data and will correct it for you. If you head over to Events → Settings, there is a section called Map Settings and a button that says “Fix venues data.” Please click that, refresh your Map View and see if that makes a difference.remakelearningParticipantHi Andras,
I’m viewing the admin screen for the venue, there is a checkbox for “Use latitude + longitude”, which is unchecked. I checked the box, and added the coordinates and now I’m seeing the event in search.
Why is it that other events are showing up fine in the map view without setting the latitude+longitude? Ideally, this would work without requiring the extra step, as we have 244 events with unique venues.
Thanks!

Is there anywhere I can download older versions of the plugins where these filters might work? I’m in a bit of a time crunch for a project and it looks like I either need to use a legacy version of the plugin or code out some custom form validation while we wait for an update from your team. Just exploring some options.

When I enter in data to the required fields, I am getting a validation error saying that the fields are required.

I just tested and this seems to work. One thing I noticed is that the “required” note does not show up on the front-end, and when failing validation for these 2 fields, they are not highlighted. Is there a way to make that happen?
I can probably fudge at least the note by editing templates or using some JS, but figured I’d ask if there was a better way.
