Perfect! Thanks Geoff!
philly00ParticipantThank you. Yep, that’s the screen I’m seeing. I click on the highlighted “terms and conditions” text, it takes me to a terms page (with no “accept” button I can see) and then when I return to the checkout page and try to complete the transaction, I get a “you must accept our terms and conditions” error message. Tried the same process in incognito browser — same result. Just in case you can process the transaction from there, I’ve entered credit card info in the payment methods section and enabled it.
philly00ParticipantHi: Issue resolved! It was the permalinks. Thanks Geoff!
philly00ParticipantThanks so much Zach for the help! Have a great weekend.
philly00ParticipantBTW, the events do show up in the Events section of the WP dash — just not on the public site.
philly00ParticipantThanks Zach for the quick reply. There’s no error message at all, actually. Just a blank events page. I did save the permalink settings just in case — no change. Here’s the page http://www.eastfallslocal.com/events/
philly00ParticipantWeird. Second time that’s happened. Last year, almost exact same thing happened (disappeared and then reappeared) without me doing anything to troubleshoot.
Thanks for looking Geoff!
philly00ParticipantThanks Josh. Issue resolved (more by accident than design on my part). I deleted a recurring event from the calendar and everything returned to normal. Weird, huh? Thank you.
Steve
philly00ParticipantHey again Josh. Removed the “events” page since it seems (from reading other posts in the forum) that Events Calendar can auto-generate a page. No change.
philly00ParticipantThanks Josh. Just to be clear, I’d remove the slug from the “categories” screen of my dashboard? If I decide to change the slug instead (to something like “calendar”) will that affect the permalink in any way? In other words, would changing the slug name disrupt a visitor’s ability to navigate to the page?
philly00ParticipantThank you. I’ve managed to figure out how to display the events in the calendar. I do have a related question though — how do you display just the first day of this three-day event on the homepage widget? That is, I don’t want to display all three dates.
philly00ParticipantAnother walkoff answer! Thanks Brian, you’re batting 1.000!
philly00ParticipantThanks Brian. Got it fixed!
philly00ParticipantWould the following message in the woocommerce status area have any bearing on my shopping cart problem?
WP Memory Limit: 40 MB – We recommend setting memory to at least 64MB. -
