    Hey many thanks for sharing that Barback.. i deactivated Jetpack but it no change so far.. Was that all you changed for it to start working? hows it working for you now?

    Brian I installed of the wordpress debug plugins thank you..
    i had to deactivate it though as it was eating all the processing power on my shared server my host suspended my access as it was impacting other customers and issued me a warning about it happening again

    maybe i was just unlucky with the monitoring plugin i chose to install but im cautious about installing another in case it happens again

    could it possibly because im using a multi site wordpress install?
    thanks again.. would love to get this working and be able to take payments

    Many thanks for your help with that Brian.. yes you were right..
    i must have messed up functions.php
    replacing the original fixed it! 🙂

    I’ll be a lot more careful in future.

    I tried what you suggested and added cash on delivery as a payment option but my checkout page still loops

    I’ll try and contact woo support
    Thank you!

    i know this isn’t covered under your support either but have any idea what might have happened here

    all i was doing was undoing the changes suggested in the woocommerce comments to add the looping code to page.php i didn’t even touch header.php as far as im aware

    ive even replaced page.php and header.php from the original theme file

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function peTheme() in
    ………………..wp-content/themes/visia/header.php on line 2

    Thanks I’ve checked my payment settings in WooCommerce they all look ok.. the only thing that I changed is the sandbox test account because i don’t a developer paypal test account yet.
    everything else looks ok and the only settings im missing are optional ones.

    Not sure what else to try.. still gets stuck on the Proceed button on checkout before any payment page

    backed out of my template changes and the dashboard message is back with:
    “Your theme does not declare WooCommerce support – Please read our integration guide or check out our Storefront theme which is totally free to download and designed specifically for use with WooCommerce.”

    on my checkout page im back to the proceed button just refreshing the page and not going to paypal

    I’ll back out my coding now..
    that should put me back to where i was yesterday where my cart proceed button doesn’t go anywhere it just keeps refreshing the page

    Would be amazing to be able to take a payment an event ticket some how.. i spent a lot of time last year trying to get tickets to work with amazon payments but i ended up stuck and confused and you’ve since discontinued that payment gateway… not surprised 🙂

    i don’t know the them developer of this theme.. would be great if its not a requirement to edit it
    thanks

    think the woocommerce content wrappers might have been what im missing..

    Not sure where to place the <?php woocommerce_content(); ?>

    in here, i can have a guess and see what happens.. thanks!

    <?php $t =& peTheme(); ?>
    <?php $content =& $t->content; ?>
    <?php get_header(); ?>
    <?php while ($content->looping() ) : ?>
    <?php get_template_part(“pagecontent”); ?>
    <?php endwhile; ?>
    <?php get_footer(); ?>

    hi again..
    i’m trying to stay positive but am go round in circles and getting nowhere at the moment…
    i did what you said and create a woo commerce product and tried to purchase it and go the same error
    “Important Message
    We’re sorry, but there’s a problem processing your payment from this website. Please contact the seller for assistance.”

    does that mean the problem isn’t with the product i’ve bought from you but with the free product from Woo Commerce which your product uses but i don’t seem to be able to get support for?

    very very frustrated at the moment.. i’ve created a woo commerce ticket but got no reply so far.. but then i’ve not bought anything from them so why should they?!

    any other suggestions? to make things more tricky the amazon setup seems to be slightly different for amazon.uk to amazon.com and while everything seems to be right it doesn’t fill me with confidence. wow!!

    thanks Barry.. that makes sense.. i’ve posted on Woo Commerce forum but no reply yet.. i don’t have any other products at all.. i only downloaded woo commerce because i needed it to take payments with Events Calandar and the main reason i bought Events Calendar was to take amazon payments. the plugin from Woo Commerce is free so i haven’t actually purchased anything from them at the moment so guess i just have to hope they might reply to me as a free user.

    i guess i could set up any kind of test product but need to learn how the only products i have set up are the tickets at the moment.. so im as new to Woo Commerce as i am to Events Calendar.. thanks for replying!
