ParticipantThe main reason I chose not to renew at this time was cost, really. It’s
not a cheap plugin, and the basic one handles most of what I need – it’s
being used on a church website. The existing Pro subscription, while now
“stuck”, covers the rest.—

ParticipantFound one there that’s got some votes, and is marked as “Longterm roadmap”. So that’s good. π
And I thought I had a lot with only 100 there. Some with a TON more there. Seems like this is a known complaint.

ParticipantThe 78% worked. Tkx.
Joe
ParticipantThe totally remove worked.
The lower font did, but had another consequence. The text isn’t justified anymore. See attached.

ParticipantIt might also be useful to put something in the docs to warn newbies that creating a repeating event with no end will create a buttload of entries in the database there? Surely I’m not the first person to try that and think “What did I do wrong?”

ParticipantMight I suggest it be altered in some future version? Given this is a church site, regular weekly worship events will GREATLY outnumber other kinds of events, so it will be a “mess” in the events list.
Might be easier if an event series can be shown as just ONE event in the list of events on the back end.
Or is there a way to get the list of events in the admin area to only show me certain categories as I want them? (or perhaps the reverse, show me all but a specific category)
As for the separate questions.. No problem. I do your job for another company, so I hate it when there’s one post with a dozen separate questions. π

ParticipantOK, turns out you were right, I had a different quotation mark there, so I fixed that and it worked like it should. We’re good there.
I also discovered the bit about other categories, so I’m good there, too. I’ll actually need both, as I’ll use the “widget on a page” plugin to get upcoming events on the front page of the site.
Tkx for helping out the n00b. π ha
