If you are using the Default Page Template, our plugin is going to use your themes single.php for single events. Have you tried editing that with the same code?

Thanks for sending the theme across. I’ve modified the code a bit for the Default Page Template which is your theme’s page.php template file. Please replace the page.php file in directory/Templates/page.php with this one: http://snippi.com/s/30z7sep

Feel free to modify any of the titles as you see fit. If you want to use a different page template, you’ll need to port this code over. If you need anything else, please let us know.

Hi Stephen,

It’s not recommended to edit core files because your changes will be lost the next time you update. What line(s) are you modifying in the files? I can at least offer adding an internal ticket to add a filter for this so you can make changes safely.

We’ve been aware of some issues with the FB import plugin for the past couple weeks and have been working diligently to push out a release fixing a number of things. It is a high priority item and you can expect to see a release very soon. Please be patient and wait until those fixes are released because they will likely resolve your issues.

Hi David,

You should be able to do this with one of the translation plugins out there. Have you tried WPML or qTranslate? We are in the process of doing a major review of compatibility with WPML because of some recent issues that have come up. So in the future integration will be much better. Now it should be pretty good, but there may be some issues.

If you are using wp-touch you’ll need to look through their documentation to figure out how to display our pages properly. Unfortunately we may not have very good compatibility with wp-touch at this time but we may add it someday down the road. For now you’re pretty much on your own.

@Jon, if you can test the import on the dev server with plugins deactivated that would be great! Let me know how that goes.

@jkskovgaard – the error looks similar to something that’s been reported recently that we have fixed in an upcoming release due out soon. Do you know by chance what type of server you are running on or whether CURL is enabled? You might also try turning PHP safe_mode off (contact your web host for this). Please let me know about these things and whether or not they help.

Hi Kyle,

Make sure you are following proper PHP standards, i.e. wherever you added it you might need to simply remove the opening PHP tag. The code should work, you just need to paste it in correctly. If you post your functions.php to http://snippi.com/ and share the snippet here I can take a look.

Unfortunately there is no easy way to make the calendar private and we can’t help you with a solution because it would be too involved. You’ll need to either hire someone to help you or figure it out on your own. Sorry I can’t offer up more on that.
