Hi rcstribe,

I’m not sure about how big of a hit you are taking by not having these pages in the sitemap. At the very least, all of your single events are still going to be indexed, so it’s not like there’s no event content at all showing up for events. I would suggest contacting Yoast to see how virtual pages can be manually added to the sitemap. There must be some way and we’re not the only plugin that uses virtual pages so I would think others have brought this up.

You’ll need to adjust your CSS to play with this a bit. You can try starting with adjusting the select elements like so:

#tribe-events-events-month,
#tribe-events-events-year {
width: 80px;
}

Add that to your theme’s style.css file. I hope that helps!

You’ll need to use a filter like this to affect your titles: https://gist.github.com/jo-snips/3710617 – for descriptions, you can use the ‘wpseo_metadesc’ filter in much the same way.

Hi Greg,

After discussing this with the team some more, we have decided to look into implementing a “fifth” option to the monthly recurrence options. No guarantees again as to when this might make it in, but it seems important enough now to warrant an update.

Also, I’m asking one of the developers to expound upon the MonthSeriesRules::getNthDayOfWeek function. It might take another day or two but we’ll try and get you some more info on this.

Sorry for the confusion. No, the plugin does not support importing from Google Calendar or iCal, only the reverse. You can export events and import them into Google Calendar or iCal.

This is likely the case since I cannot see the events form that page either. My suggestion would be to create a page and test to see if you can import from that another page. That would indicate the page you provided has some privacy or age restrictions in place which is going to prevent imports. There’s no way around that unfortunately.
