Remove Events from Dashboard Menu for Subscribers

Hey,
We are allowing comments in our blog but only to registered users. Since we are using the Subscriber role in WordPress for these people, we want to keep the dashboard tidy for these people. Is there a way to remove it from showing up in the menu? Here is what that user would see and what we want to remove:

Hi bmhcc, you can accomplish that with this snippet: https://gist.github.com/jo-snips/ae1d0e8e22ba944adbec – put that in your theme’s functions.php file.
