This is great news!
I updated the files and have a partial success.

Admin now shows the correct qty purchased for all my events (yay!!!)

Unfortunately, the percentage variable is incorrect for some of my events.
For example most events say 100% when they are full and all tickets have been sold.
or 20% when 2 of 10 tickets have been sold.

However, a few of my events will show 100% when only 2 of the 10 tickets are sold etc.

Thanks for the response.
In the end, we just created an online form with the additional info and emailed all attendees asking them to provide the additional data via the form.

Not ideal, but is getting the job done.

I should have also mentioned that I looked for ways to “turn off” googlemaps support in the theme.
I couldn’t find an option I could disable, just a googlemaps short code
