ParticipantHi Michelle and Rob!
I have copied the code and inserted it in the function.php, but it gives me an error with an unexpected T_STRING in the penultimate line. Why is this??I’ll wait for Michelle’s question to be answered to know how to do that too. Thanks!! 😉

ParticipantI did it! Good luck! 🙂

ParticipantHi Jonah!
Really I haven´t changed anything in code…
My first movement has been: install wordpress, after that I installed Event Pro and the calendar works allright… but when I installed my yootheme template (fucking nightmare…) it crashed.
When I uninstall the yootheme, the calendar works fine again… so It should be the yootheme and I know that you can´t do anything… but perhaps you could advise me to start my nightmare support with yootheme… Maybe a code that cancels the programming language or any known conflict between event calendar and programming codes…Thanks again friend… I still think that tribe support is one of the best, you do even more than what you should and that is one of the things that make a support and the purchases company big!

ParticipantHi Jonah!
Finally I uploaded my web to start with customizations and more, so… here is the link that you need: http://www.refresssh.com/category/blogs/
Thanks!javier
ParticipantHi! First of all, thanks for your support! You’re the best support I’ve seen by now!
I made it work till the loop, but… where is the event’s loop??Thanks again, guys!

ParticipantHonestly… I don´t know where to find those parameters in the php.files… this is another world for me :S …
But there can be something that can help me:
There is a folder called “views” in the plugin folder.
1. Which of those php files of the events calendar should I include and change to my theme template’s file? Is there one that contains all of them or something like that?
2. Actually there isn´t any “events” folder created in my theme folder so… Do I have to create it?
3. What is the name of the “events custom content type” and “taxonomy” to include them in the templates, loops and php files of my theme to recognize the events calendar in the layouts folder?
I have just asked in the Yootheme support forum but… I don´t know if I will receive any answer, there are more users with the same problem but the support appears to be slow and without interest (perhaps they don´t pay them… 🙁 ) This is driving me crazy… Thanks again for your support!

ParticipantThanks Rob! I have already done this.
1. And events appears in my post categories but the additional info doesn´t appear, just the “title” “date and other tags info” and finally the “content”. I need show events in post as the event appears in its own category (price, addresss…)2. The calendar grid view doesn´t appear. I also need to show a static grid calendar somewhere in my category page.
Just imagine (because I´m working in localhost…) when you open my “MUSIC” category you will be able to see: post musica categories, events music categories and in a widget or another place the calendar grid showing dates of events music category.
Thanks Rob!

ParticipantYes, that is exactly what I need. Styling with the styles of my theme the event categories. (I´m working in localhost…)

ParticipantA new comment in https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/single-day-view/#post-19085 will help us.
javier
ParticipantOK! If you read this question you will be able to understand me better about this one: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/event-calendar-widget-doesn%C2%B4t-work/
The description “tooltip” that shows the links to a single day event view, doesn´t appear… when I put my mouse over the colored day, the tooltip doesn´t appear and in its place appears the “text edit symbol/icon” of the mouse as if it was a normal day without any event.
A clue to solve it is when I change the theme to a default wordpress theme it WORKS!!!! So I suppose that my template overrides it. How can I attack the problem?
Thanks Jonah, in Spain we say “Tienes el cielo ganado conmigo” = “You have won the heaven with me! (your support with me will make you go directly to heaven!) 🙂

ParticipantThere is help in this link about it: http://www.yootheme.com/support/question/10644
But… the problem is… I don´t need to create a new custom content type because the new content type is also created by the plugin ECP. I don´t know where the ECP related php files are to do the same process of the help tutorial.
I suppose that the “single-treatments.php”, “archive-treatments.php” and “taxonomy conditions” of the help process link belongs to the same ECP PHP files that doing these functions… If you show me which folder allows these files yhen I will be able to do the help process of the link.
Thanks!javier
Participant– To expire events: delete it or event becomes a historic content.
– Calendar templates and styles!!!
Regards!javier
ParticipantThanks Jonah!
I suppose that any users doesn´t want to use a plugin for this simple feature. It could be a new good feature to next versions.
Stay tuned for your answer. Thanks!
javier
ParticipantHi Jonah!
No, I need a new taxonomy of tags for my custom post type created through the Event calendar pro plugin. Such as the tags of the normal post wordpress (that includes tags). I need it for add to the navigation menu… add “event category of event calendar pro” and add “tag of event calendar pro”…
Sorry for my english… 🙂
Finally, I fix it looking solutions in the web.
Thanks Jonah!
javier
