ParticipantJonah,
Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. I don’t understand where I put the category. And do I use the cat id number or the slug?
jebs38
ParticipantThanks Barry! I’ll give it a whirl.

ParticipantBarry,
I was able to make a work around. I changed the default number of events shown to 30 and that pretty much fixes the issue because there are hardly ever more than that.

ParticipantThanks Barry!

ParticipantBarry,
I am sorry it took me so long to get back to you on this.
Here is an example day view: http://events.bestofnj.com/calendar/ on that page only 10 events are showing.
Now go to the calendar for that day and you will see that there are 14 events listed.
I think that there is some setting that is only showing 10 events per day. I have noticed this on multiple pages.
You seem to be concerned that some of those events are multiple day events. Am I conceiving of something wrong to expect the calendar to show all the events of the day regardless of whether or not some of those are repeating events. I do not understand your point or your concern.
The problem seems to be limited to the single day view.

ParticipantYes, all the events for that day and many other days that have lots of events are not showing. The pagination does not seem to be working. I thought there might be a limit setting somewhere that I needed to adjust.

ParticipantBarry, that did the trick. Thanks a million!

ParticipantBarry,
I just found your response. Somehow the notification system for the forum seems a little glitchy. Let me try the alt. code.jebs38

ParticipantBarry, I tried restoring one a moment ago and I got the same behavior plus that full page format on all the pages that I despise. I don’t mind responsive themes, but having the information stretch out to 100% of a wide screen monitor makes the event information unreadable.

ParticipantBarry,
Thanks for responding. The template is set to default and here is what my custom template looks like: http://pastebin.com/nJnUbT1R

ParticipantBarry,
Thanks for responding. That doesn’t help. I had the correct category ID’s to begin with. I also asked about making choosing a category mandatory. Is that possible?

ParticipantCan I get some help on this issue please!
jebs38
ParticipantThanks Jonah. The tutorials were extremely helpful. I wish I had gone through them to begin with. I got the base ECP events template styled to fit seemlessly with the site.

ParticipantJonah,
I have made some progress on this issue and I wanted to report that for the benefit of others that may be struggling with this.I have found that when I deactivated Yoast SEO and used All in One SEO instead and used the Default Events Template under the Template Settings tab that the Page Title issue is resolved perfectly. The page title now shows the category title and the name of the current month shown, — exactly what I need for good SEO!
My problem now is that that template is strangely styled (gridview and single end up taking up 100% of the screen with no padding) in my theme and I need to make some adjustments.
