Hi,

I thought this had worked – and to a point it has – but I have just noticed that it has set all events to say they are starting on the current day (including recurring events, the first of which is some time away).

Hi,

First issue has been resolved. I had seen advice regarding the Avada theme to use a plugin to manage the order of my portfolio posts. It would seem that this plugin affected the event order too. Plugin deactivated, another solution found to my portfolio order and all working correctly.

So that still leaves me with my second problem. I know I could set a long running event as a series of recurring events but that would result in lots of events clogging up the diary and whilst these can be switched to only showing the first that would impact on other recurring events with fewer instances when I do want to show them all.

Hi again.

I have just checked my site and noticed that I didn’t have the very latest version of the filter plugin. Installing this has seen all of the issues disappear – including an odd one affected the Widget page in the backend.

Quick update. The import function has begun working so I have now got some events onto the site – however, I get a fatal error on the events page as soon as I activate the filter bar plugin (which is a feature I need on the site).

I’ve tried deactivating all plugins except the Event Calendar plugins and also change the theme to Twenty Seventeen and it was the filter bar plugin that caused an issue every time.
