Hi Jamie-
I did these things and it made no difference.Note that the failure only occurs from the page “Upcoming Events” which
has Sept and Oct events and the link “Previous Events”, which is broken.
http://spiritual-frontiers.com/?post_type=tribe_eventsIf you go into a single event, then it has named links to previous and
next events, and these work. Example:
http://spiritual-frontiers.com/?tribe_events=sherrie-dillard-continuing-the-journey-with-loved-ones-on-the-other-sideThanks-

Changing permalinks would change the url of all existing events, right?

December 13, 2015 at 7:46 pm in reply to: Events calendar triggering false positives with Config Server security in cpanel #1040561ironandsteelParticipantOk- I have installed events cal pro 4.01, and installed Event Tickets and Event Tickets Pro.
I’ll be watching the logs closely for more 403 errors and see if anything changes.
This server hosts several other WordPress sites with no problems, but this is the only one running The Events Calendar, and the 403 errors I see happen when somebody clicks on an event to view it.
Thanks

Default http://spiritual-frontiers.com/?p=123The problems showed as soon as we ported the site over to its current location. The server is a standard cpanel system and is running ModSecurity. There are several other wordpress sites that are running fine, but this one has consistently had problems with triggering 403 errors and the commonality appears to be usage of the events calendar.
I am also pursuing relaxing the rules for this site, but I’m not sure that I’ll be able to do this.
Thanks for looking into this.

3.12a1September 21, 2015 at 9:07 am in reply to: "Next Event" widget finds no events since I upgraded to 3.12.1 #1007079ironandsteelParticipantI discovered that the sidebar was using a widget called “Next Event” which was not working. I added the widget call “Upcoming Events” and that worked.
So- it is good now.ironandsteelParticipantSorry I didn’t notice that! This is exactly what I needed. I ended up sorting on the description field. It so happens that the contents of description work out to sort in the right order (there are times in the description). What would be more flexible is another field in which you can specify the order. Or- maybe use the first char of description as the sort order, and then skip the first char when displaying.
Thanks-February 12, 2014 at 2:05 pm in reply to: need report of customers who bought a specific ticket #103847ironandsteelParticipantI found what I needed- I simply had to go to the Attendees for the event. I had forgotten about this feature. I’m a little curious why nobody pointed me to this though.
February 10, 2014 at 6:08 pm in reply to: need report of customers who bought a specific ticket #103010ironandsteelParticipantJulie- as paulpetch and several others have pointed out, what is the point of a ticketing system if you cannot get a list of who bought tickets? I mean really- how are you supposed to use this? I appreciate that the reporting could be done from woocommerce, but I think tribe should provide some sort of tool for revealing this most basic need of any ticketing system- who bought tickets!! Wouldn’t you agree?
February 10, 2014 at 5:01 pm in reply to: Is there any way to show an "attendees" list on the event? #102946ironandsteelParticipantBarry- thanks for this library! I hope to come up with some way to do something similar to what stevenolli wants- except I want it on the back end. It is the MOST obvious functionality and I am astounded that I have to write it! I mean, we use wootickets to sell tickets to an event. What is the number one thing that EVERYONE needs? A list of who bought the tickets!
ironandsteelParticipantI’m on a shared hosting environment so I don’t think I have the level of error log that I would like.
Anyway, yes I have noticed and started to use that new formatting hook in 3.2. Works great- the default format of date @ time is not very ideal, so I am using a br tag in place of the @. Next, I need to figure out how to break up the venue address, organizer onto new lines. Also, I need to show an additional field I added for admission fee- not found that yet.ironandsteelParticipantActually, I take it back. After updating to 3.2, the undesired enlargement of the image doesn’t happen. Still, the layout of the featured image is pretty bad. I improved it in both the event list and the single page event display with the following:
.tribe-events-list .tribe-events-event-image {
float: left;
margin-right: 10px;
width: auto;
}.tribe-events-event-image img {
height: auto;
max-width: 100%;
float: left;
padding-right: 10px;
}ironandsteelParticipantYes- this is still an issue after 3.2. Here is my latest style override that seems to fix the featured image display in both the full page single event, and the event listing.
.tribe-events-list .tribe-events-event-image {
float: left;
margin-right: 10px;
width: auto;
