DaveParticipant
Thanks. I look forward to hearing back from you in more detail. However, this isn’t a custom development question – something changed in an update that made what was working (having different APIs for different Meetup accounts) stop working (such that only one Meetup API is accepted).
DaveParticipantThanks for your help. I’ll request it at the link you provided.

DaveParticipantHrm, that’s unfortunate – I’m glad I asked. Between hourly and daily is a huge difference in how up to date a calendar would be, and it seems like it wouldn’t be much work to add a few more options in between (or to let the user set the frequency to whatever they want). Is there a place I can request that feature?
Thanks,
Dave
November 14, 2017 at 10:23 am in reply to: Recurring events showing incorrect time after Daylight Savings Time ends #1382770DaveParticipantI updated everything and confirmed all those settings, but the problem persists. However, having it show the time zones gives some potentially useful info. You can see this in the new event I created that’s having the problems:
http://peoplescolloquium.org/event/test-event/2017-10-14/ shows up as PDT
http://peoplescolloquium.org/event/test-event/2017-11-14/ shows as PSTSo, it knows the time zone change happened, but doesn’t keep the time consistent.
Unfortunately, this is a well-used live site, so I can’t just go and start changing themes and disabling plugins to test for conflicts.
New recurring events that don’t straddle the DST switch have the correct time (though I assume they won’t when it rolls back around in spring) so, since this is taking so long to fix, I might just need to recreate all the recurring events starting with their next instance, but clearly that wouldn’t be ideal.

November 6, 2017 at 2:20 pm in reply to: Recurring events showing incorrect time after Daylight Savings Time ends #1376466DaveParticipantThanks. The events that aren’t working (they’re still showing up one hour late after Daylight Savings Time), like Philosophy 101: Discussion, are set to the Los Angeles time zone. My WordPress timezone is also set to Los Angeles. The ones that are working, like The People’s Ink: a Contemporary Writing Workshop, are set to UTC + 0 timezone. In Events -> Settings, I do have it set to “use local timezones for each event.”
DaveParticipantThe issue does seem to be solved after the update. Thanks!

August 15, 2017 at 2:46 pm in reply to: Woocommerce Name Your Price extension and Events Tickets Plus #1335784DaveParticipantThat’s a great start – thanks for your help. I moved it around with CSS and added a description, and it’s working pretty well: http://peoplescolloquium.org/event/test-class/. There are a few other things that could work better – for example, under the title and date it shows a price, which is the minimum price – it would be nice to show the suggested price there, and the minimum price down where it shows the suggested price. But, what you’ve provided is good for now – I wouldn’t expect you to go too deep down customizing this unless you wanted to officially support the plugin. So, I can see if I can get those working on my own.
This is very much appreciated.

DaveParticipantThank you, Victor. I look forward to seeing a fix!
DaveParticipantI couldn’t test for conflicted on the live site, as it’s in production, so I went back to the development site to test for conflicts. You can see it here: http://pq.inkstainedcreative.com/ – I’ve disabled every plugin except for The Events Calendar and The Events Calendar Pro, and switched the theme to Twenty Sixteen, so there shouldn’t be any conflicts, but the issue persists.
To replicated the issue, click forward to August, choose an event, then click the back arrow. The title (“Events for August 2017”) will be correct, but the the actual calendar information will be for the current month, July (you can see this because the current date will be highlighted, which it wouldn’t be if it was showing the calendar for August.) I’ve attached a screenshot showing the discrepancy.
I’ve shared the system information for both the production site, above, and the live site (peoplescolloquium.org).
Thanks for looking into this.
DaveParticipantThat worked perfectly. Thank you!
