I also wanted to point out that this is only happening in the month view. I’m using shortcode [tribe_events view=”month” category=”schoolwide” tribe-bar=”false”] and this event showing on 2 days is only happening with the month view (which is what we want). For now I’ve changed the live website to a list view while we troubleshoot the issue on the staged site.

    Hello,
We are hosting this site on WP Engine so I was able to duplicate the site to a staging area there. I deactivated all plugins except The Events Calendar and The Events Calendar PRO and the issue was still occurring. I then changed the theme to another theme, still there. I reverted it all back so that it matches the site again since the plugins and theme weren’t the issue. How do we go about troubleshooting this issue? School is starting next week and parents are calling about events showing 2 days in a row so we’re trying to fix this issue as quickly as possible. Oh, I also checked the timestamp and have it set to Los Angeles. I tried changing it to UTC and that didn’t help either.

This is the staging site. If you go to this page and click over to Oct 9th, you’ll see “University of Florida” is doing what I’m referring (showing on 2 days even though it’s a single day event).

Oh, sorry, I should have mentioned that we are converting the RSS feed to an ical feed. This is the feed that is importing the events to mobile calendars… http://feed2ical.appspot.com/convert?url=https%3A%2F%2Fkehillah.org%2Fcalendar%2Fcategory%2Fathletics%2Fgirls-varsity-volleyball%2Ffeed%2F

Again, there are no time and date issues unless the start time is set to 5pm. If we change it to 5:01, everything displays correctly. I can’t figure out why this issue is only happening for events starting at exactly 5:00pm.

    Hello Barry,
I don’t think you are quite understanding the issue. We aren’t having any problems with timezone adjustments and dates, everything is working great EXCEPT if we mark an event to start at 5pm. If we mark an event to start at 5:00pm and give it any end time, it goes into the RSS feed as the next day marked as an all day event (but still shows correctly on the actual site and in the calendars showing events). If I change the time to 5:01 or 5:05, it shows correctly in the feed as well but once I change it back to 5pm, it changes in the RSS feed as an all day event the next day again. There is something going wrong with ONLY 5pm being marked as the start time. That is when they show in the RSS feed incorrectly.

    Hello again,
Ok, tried the snippet and the RSS title updated to “My Custom Events Archive Title” as it should if I paste the code in as is without changing the text to custom text. That’s exactly what I needed to change but I don’t know PHP very well, so I’m not sure how to change “My Custom Events Archive Title” from static text to pull in the category name it’s feeding from. I looked at the is_feed() and is_tax( Tribe__Events__Main::TAXONOMY ) links you sent but have no clue how to work those into this snippet. I’ve tried several things to test if they would work, some broke the site (so I removed it) and some just left that area blank. Any ideas on how to get this snipped to pull in the category name as what $my_custom_title equals?

Great, thank you! I’ll try this out and see how it goes. I knew support was good about getting back pretty quickly, but I posted my original issue last Thurs with no reply yet so I was concerned it was missed somehow 🙂

Is anyone from support going to get back to me? I need assistance on this ASAP as we have a live site and need to get this issue resolved.

I am having the same issue. I cannot select categories in the widgets. Hopefully this is fixed soon…

    Hello,
I tried deactivating all plugins but The Events Calendar and was still having the issue. I checked the console to see if there were any errors and there weren’t any showing. I can’t deactivate the theme or the required theme plugins without killing the site or losing some of my work, so I just worked with the elements via CSS and fixed it enough to be able to see all 3 calendars at once. I’m not sure why it would conflict with the theme, but that is the only thing I didn’t deactivate, so it’s either that or the plugin itself. Since I haven’t see many complaints about the issue online I can assume it’s a theme conflict. Hopefully it’s the only issue since I was able to do a workaround for this one and may not be so lucky on something else conflicting.
