We are all set. Thanks for the help!
StephParticipantThanks! This is the kind of think I’ve been looking for!
February 14, 2013 at 1:55 pm in reply to: Error Message when Trying to Save Live Eventbrite Event in WP #32675StephParticipantWe resolved this by publishing first to Eventbrite and then importing and publishing to WordPress. We are finding that it is quickest to just delete an event that needs editing instead of trying to get both systems to update.

StephParticipantOk, solved that one then by having my klugy function (show above) called in ecp-single-template.php and the tribe_meta_event_category_name function called in ecp-page-template.php.
Would still love to know if there is a better solution than my own function…StephParticipantAnd…. I just found a place where this messy fix is not working:
>http://informedmedicaldecisions.org/events/category/sdm-month-events/month/Should have the same header, footer, sidebar as http://informedmedicaldecisions.org/sdm-month-events-page/

StephParticipantTwo things- not sure if they have been requested or not.
1) When on a single event page, there are links at the bottom left and right to go to the previous and next events which is great, but an arrow in either direction, along with the link titles, might be a nice addition for those that are more drawn to graphics than text. A number of folks have mentioned to my team that they are so used to having arrows as visual indicators so just a text link confused them.
2) I’ve noticed that clicking on a “organizer” link in a single event opens that external website in the same page as my website. We have all external links on our site opening in new tabs/pages and I think it would be wonderful for the organizer’s site to do the same.
