    I know very little about this and, as I said, pay a guy to fix things that go haywire, so if having a custom template means going above and beyond, I can assure you I don’t have one. Under Settings, Default Template is checked.

    Yes, I see how it should look. That would be lovely. =o)

    I’m checking Resolved only because it doesn’t seem you can help me and it’s futile to continue this conversation.

    Hey Brian,

    Thanks for getting back to me. I have to pay a guy to fix this stuff for me, so I forwarded your email and he says this:

    “I believe the map was ‘hidden’ via a CSS rule like this: #tribe-events-gmap-0 {visibility: collapse; margin-top: -350px;}

    I have inserted the rule in the custom theme css found here => dashboard => appearance => edit CSS.”

    Now it’s not showing up, which is good, but this seems like it will be irritating/expensive going forward. I’m open to any tips you have.

    Cheers,
    Heather

    Hey Josh,

    Thanks for the response. I’m not looking for images in monthly view, but list view, which is what I’ve always used and has always featured images (until this upgrade). The URL your system gave you for me is missing the dash. You can see the page I’m referring to here: http://www.herestherub-llc.com/events/list/

    Standing by,

    OK, thanks for the tip, Jonah. How do I go about getting my money back for the Pro (the only reason I purchased the upgrade was so I wouldn\’t have to recreate my events every time)? I used Google Calendar before venturing into WP, and it has a button for this in its free version. With all the lovely WP newfangled-ness, seems odd not to have that feature here.

    OK, the layout issue got resolved with the help of a WP pro. The duplication thing is still an issue. I read something in here about another plugin. Know anything about that?

    Sure, before I got the Pro version the calendar was on a page unto itself. I had no editing capability save adding events, so I set things up accordingly. Then I upgraded so I could duplicate events rather than recreating all the time, and somehow the full page calendar went missing and where it was is a page with a video in the slider, a sidebar and the calendar crammed in below. It’s calling itself “Event” rather than “Page.” I’d like it back the other way. Then I’d love to hear how to duplicate events, as “recurring” doesn’t seem to allow me to pick a date and hold a past event over again unless it’s on a regular schedule. My events aren’t regularly scheduled.
    Thanks!

    I’m having the same problem. Just upgraded to Pro and the new calendar appears to be nested in the text areas of an event, rather than as a stand-alone page. It’s here: http://www.lightsourcehealing.org/events/. I’m quite new at this so please speak slowly.
    Thanks,
    Heather
