ParticipantYep – increased it from 16M to 32M and then 128M (which seemed a little excessive) all to no avail. However, with php memory set at 32M I can now access the page if logged in as an administrator but not as a subscriber using the sites theme Sahifa… just switched to Twenty Fifteen and I can access the page as both admin & subscriber.

ParticipantAnd it gets worse, having thought I’d resolved the issue I updated my theme and now the problem has reared its ugly head again. Fatal error I am getting is:
PHP Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 89 bytes) in /home/grapevine/public_html/wp-includes/meta.php on line 835

ParticipantIt appears that it is not just Profile Builder. Any plugin that allows you to add additional fields to registration has the same affect.

ParticipantOK – its been a long few days, this one is TOTALLY down to me!! I had a venue filter set DOH, DOH, DOH!!! Time to relax, have a drink and stay well away from keyboards for a few hours… consider this your typical error located between the chair and the keyboard 😉

ParticipantAlso – I have just added an event as a user, the number of pending events has increased by 1 in the index but there are no pending events to edit in the detail.

ParticipantAs you suggested it was a fatal error, exhausted memory as it happens.
Our website is heavily used at weekend by sponsors so I was loath to apply a basic template and remove plugins. As the sole developer I could at least re-trace my steps and remove the most recently applied plugins… turns out that “Profile Builder” by Cozmozlabs was the culprit. http://www.cozmoslabs.com/ (Or at least by deactivating it Community Events works!!)I have uninstalled Profile Builder and will look at another possible solution.
Thank you for pointing me in the right direction, your support is much appreciated.

ParticipantThank you for your prompt response Brian. I am out of the office today but will run the debug & test for conflicts as soon as I can and let you know the results.

Once I put the letters together in the right order (doh!) it worked fine! Yeah, I should have cut’n’paste, I know…
Thanks for your prompt response.Tony

Participant…and it also appears if you search for an event name of which there are multiple instances. To be clear I would like to remove any option that allows events to be exported.

ParticipantThank you for taking the time to look Nico. I totally agree, complete overkill to hack for something that is not an issue to begin with. On the whole The Events Calendar works for us out of the box – lets keep it that way!

ParticipantNo worries Nico, its not the end of the world if it can’t be made happen. The site is http://www.grapevinelive.co.uk

ParticipantHi folks,
I too am getting this timeout with 3.10 For me it is a client’s demo site. I imported a CSV from their current site which added 16,000 events (!) and am now getting the same 30s time out.
http://www.tonybelldesigns.com/?post_type=tribe_eventsFor me this is not critical as I am still in development mode and the import was very raw (it includes past events). By excluding the 10,000 (!) past events I suspect it will resolve my problem. It does beg the question though – is there a tool to purge past events on an automated basis?
