    Our listings website running Events Calendar Pro. All of the events we list take place in the East of England. When users select a location such as Ipswich or Norwich in the location search they are offered Ipswich, Suffolk, UK or Ipswich, MA, USA or Norwich, Norfolk, UK / Norwich, CT, USA / Norwich, NY 13815, USA.

    Whilst having nothing against our American cousins I wonder if it is possible to restrict the location search to the UK?

    Hi Tony,

    Thanks for reaching out to us! Interesting question here, upfront I’m mostly sure there’s not much we can do to solve this as results are returned straight from Google’s API. But please send me your site URL so I can check it there and try to reproduce/test a similar scenario locally.

    Hey Tony,

    I’ve taken a look into this, but there’s no easy way to filter the results. I can see why this is an issue in your site, but unfortunately to change this you’d have to some JS files replacement and hack the code, which seems to be a bit of an overkill for this case. If you are down to do so I can point you in the right direction but crafting this customization would be out of the support we can provide here at the forums.

    Thank you for taking the time to look Nico. I totally agree, complete overkill to hack for something that is not an issue to begin with. On the whole The Events Calendar works for us out of the box – lets keep it that way!
