The order confirmation e-mails are going out to both the customer and to Gina (the gallery owner) but not the ticket delivery e-mail. Is there possibly something I set up incorrectly in the actual product that is causing it to not go out? If so, can you let me know what to do?

    I have it set as:

    Simple Product
    Virtual
Inventory is set to not allow backorders
No linked products, attributes or advanced settings.

If I need to set it as a downloadable product what do I need to do in order to get the download to the purchaser?

    Thanks for your help.

It looks like everything is working now. I apologize for all the frustration but I’m sure you can understand why. I’m trying to do the best job I can for my client and when the store doesn’t work, no one is happy. Thanks for your help and I will keep my fingers crossed.

    Barry,

I have no clue where the white background came from. I know I didn’t put it there and don’t know how to get rid of it. That is NOT my biggest concern. My biggest concern is now that the Events calendar plugin is crashing my shop page in Woo Commerce.

I put the code you gave me in the Custom CSS box but I still have the white boxes. I would send you a screen shot but I can’t attach one here. This white box needs to go away ASAP.

After spending several hours on this it turns out that the plugin screwing everything up is your Events calendar plugin. So now I have to tell my client that she doesn’t have an events calendar or a store. How does it get fixed? This is beyond insane and I’m tired of listening to my client complain about things not working. FIX IT NOW!!!!!!!!!!

When I’m talking about my ticketing not looking like it does on your instructional video I mean that it looks nothing like your video. There is a huge white box with a couple of links on it and the actual “add to cart” is at the bottom.

Forgive my saying this but it;s now been more than a week since we started contacting you and we don’t yet have a fix. This is a huge joke and you’re making me look like a fool to my client. This needs to get resolved right away. Can you explain why I paid for something and it seems as if your company has better things to do than help people in a timely manner?

I can’t send a screenshot but here is the link. This needs to get handled today or I will move up the ladder and discuss this with your boss. I will also make sure the client sees all the dialogue back and forth so they realize I’ve been trying to fix a problem that never should have happened.

I was finally able to embed the [add_to_cart id=”376″] shortcode and embed the item on a page but I had to use this one because the product ID/SKU ones were squirrelly and you couldn’t control where they ended up on the page and where they forced other images.

I still need to figure out the problems with the events page and would appreciate any tips on placing the shortcodes so they look right. The page where I embedded the item is here:

    Barry,

Thanks for the reply. I don’t want to sound rude, but you’re talking over my head. What I want is simple. I want the ability to embed the ticket on a page on the website so people can buy from that page and I want the ticketing on the actual events page to look like it does on your tutorial videos.

As far as creating threads, I have no idea what you’re talking about. What I know is that I’m embedding the ticket using the shortcode and it’s not working properly. I also know that the actual event looks like crap. Where can I send a screenshot or two so you can see what I’m talking about? This is the events page: http://ginamwgallery.com/event/h-o-p-e-homes-silent-auction-gala/

I will put a smaller picture in there but the top white box (with the map) is an eyesore and the “add to cart button” at the bottom is hard to find. I believe I’m doing everything according to the way your video shows how to do it.

I need help ASAP so my client can keep the fundraiser people happy. Thanks.

    Leah,

I suppose it’s too difficult for you to simply answer the questions of paying customers? If I do re-ask the question over in another forum what are the chances that it will get answered and the problem fixed in a timely manner? And what are the chances that I will be asked to do something in yet a different location? So far it seems that there isn’t a lot of actual problem solving going on here. I will cross my fingers that things change.

Thanks. I bought the product but have lots of problems. Nothing looks like it does in your video tutorials and I can’t get the tickets to embed correctly on a non-events page. There is a white box where a photo should be and there is no option to add anything more than a single ticket. To be quite honest the documentation sucks. I wish I was a code geek but I’m not. What I am is a guy who has spent 5 hours sitting at a computer trying to figure this out and at 1:18 AM I’m finally leaving my office and e-mailing the client to tell them your product isn’t as easy as indicated. Can I please get some help so I don’t like like a tool?

    Barry,
I’m having the same dilemma but I have to say “anything is possible” isn’t really an answer. “Here is how you do it” is an answer. How about hooking us up with some knowledge since that’s what the forum is about.
