    Hi Support,
I’ve updated everthing on my website livingsenigallia.it but the issue on the CE form persist as you can see:

    https://www.livingsenigallia.it/prossimi-eventi/community/aggiungi

It’s not possible to found any category, it says “no matches found”.

Let me know when you can, cause now the issue is live on the website, and I need to come back at the previous version as soon as possible.

    Dear support,
after 2 weeks this issue (no matches found in category field) persist on my staging version.
In the live website I’ve still the previous version, but now my users are notice me there is something wrong (an error occour) when they publish an event by frontend.
Can I have a little update on what’s going on with the new version of CE and when it will be ready?

    Thanks in advice,
    Emanuele

Ok, I can consider this issue fixed at the moment.
The way you see it is like it should be, and works.
About the console messages, I don’t have the ability to know what they mean :/

Thanks for your time and support,
    Emanuele

    Hi Cliff,
I’m not pretty sure, but I think I found a right combo with the Autoptimze options, but, if you could take another look and check it too it would be very appreciated, cause my only way to check it is… open the page again and again.
For that reason I’m not sure 🙂

    @Hans-Gerd
very thanks for the suggest! If my problems persist I sure will try to switch with WP-Rocket!

    Hi Cliff,
thanks for the css code, it works.
Unfortunatly, there is something still wrong on this page.
Sometimes (in reality, a lot of times), when you open the page (https://www.eventimarcheoggi.it/prossimi-eventi/community/aggiungi) the top menu does not appear, and when this is issue come, users can’t choose a venue, cause the venue choose option simply not appear (like the top menu).
I checked it for two days, with more browsers and pc, deactivated all the JS compression, removed two plugin who could create conflicts, but this problem persist.
Could you take a look? Actally this condition make the form useless, and I can’t promote or publish it.
    Thanks again,
    Emanuele

    Hi Cliff,
Lot of these console errors are caused by me cause I’m searching and testing an alternative plugin like autoptimize (at this purpose, can you suggest me one who don’t conflict with EC?).
About the display:none , I agree and don’t care about the sidebar in the form page, but my problem is it’s the same default template so if I apply the display:none the sidebar will disappear in all events page. (or am I wrong?)

    Hi Victor,
I’ve followed your suggestions but it’s not easy, autoptimize is not an option for my website, which is builded with betheme and revolution slider so deactivate the JS options mean, seriusly, an totally useless website to rebuild.
So I’ve try to exclude your events calendar JS by the automptimize settings:

    – tribe-events-pro.min.js
    – tribe-events-bar.min.js
    – tribe-events-ajax-maps.min.js
    – tribe-events-photo-view.min.js?

but I have not resolved anything, with exclusions combos too. With some esclusion the layout crash (don’t understand how it’s possible), with other nothing happens and the issue persist.
Have I missed some other JS to exclude? Or How can I exclude it by another options? Or what other thing I can do?
Unfortunatly I seriusly can’t deactivate the JS option of autoptimize, a 7/8 seconds loading time page means an entire website to rebuild, change your plugin will be the only sick but realistic opinion to consider in that case.
Your plugin had no one conflict issue until the 4.4, and in my humble opinion a conflict with autoptimize is something you should consider a big priority 🙂

Let me know and thanks in advice,
    Emanuele
