ParticipantHi Barry,
Thanks for that. I added the code to functions.php

ParticipantOh and another thing, though I may have to put this into another discussion or have it as a suggested feature. But if you look at one of the venues, you will notice it has so many events that it increases page download times considerably. Currently it’s showing 35 events in list view (and they have more to add!). Is there anyway to add pagination to venue pages? Category pages are paginated with next and previous events which helps to limit the page size.

ParticipantHi Jonah,
I appreciate the support you give. I tried list view and got no error messages. How long before the next release? I know you may not be able to give a definite answer but is it a couple of weeks, a couple of months? The monthly calendar view is necessary as they have a lot of events. Does the last version 2.?? work well for this? I’m just wondering if it is better for me to revert back and wait until all the bugs are ironed out with the new version 3. OR I’m thinking maybe not to show upcoming events on category pages. I’m still new to wordpress and genesis, (this may be out of support scope) but what’s the best way to create a unique sidebar for category pages? Then I don’t show upcoming events on the category pages until the next release.July 16, 2013 at 8:28 am in reply to: Category page, the upcoming events widget shows page not found #55425ellaearth

ParticipantHey Jonah, I would like it removed from everywhere. Your code removed it from the pages I was looking at except for on a single event page. I would like to remove it from there also.

ParticipantHey Jonah, your code removed it generally (for me but I’m not looking at ALL the views) except on the actual event page itself. Hope you have some more code 🙂

ParticipantJust commenting here in case there’s a solution to this. Having related events after the ticket purchase info is more logical.

Add the code above to your functions.php file. It worked for me.July 15, 2013 at 4:27 am in reply to: Category page, the upcoming events widget shows page not found #55151ellaearth
ParticipantI’m using Genesis.

ParticipantI’m in the same boat. The data is in the back-end but no events showing up in the front end.

Participantsparkuparts – You’re awesome! That helped me fix the sidebar issue in genesis. I knew there was a missing div but your solution is more thorough and elegant than mine was. One problem down, quite a few more to go unfortunately. I had no idea this this plugin was going to be such a pain (sorry!) to implement.

ParticipantHey Ivanhi
I uploaded to a demo site and same issues. I’m currently modifying event pro plugin files as I need to get work done to see changes. But I need to know correct paths for 3.0 so I can copy out the files there. Glad to know I’m not the only one with this issue. Hope we get an answer soon 🙂ellaearth
