ParticipantSure thing! I just set up a staging site at:
http://dev.slideluck.com/events/That site has the 4.4.4 version of both plugins activated. Thanks for the help!

ParticipantWell, shoot. @Kia, I’m glad you figured it out. Do you know what the conflict was with your theme? Maybe something similar is happening on my theme.
@Courtney… Is there a known conflict that I might be able to address? The theme I have is custom-built from basic underscores. Something I should look at to start the debug process?Cheers!

ParticipantYeah, I actually had to revert back to version 4.3.5 because the client was doing a big promotion. That’s where it starts working again. I’m attaching a screenshot of what it looked like when I switched over to 4.4.4 for a moment. Its the same way it looked on the previous version of the plugin release. No difference at all. 🙁
Would be happy to work with you all on this if you want me to get you access to a dev site with the newer versions installed. But the issue persists.

ParticipantA friendly heads up… I just started a new thread after updating the maintenance release because the photo view is STILL broken.
I assume conversation will continue in the new thread… But I wanted to update those watching this thread.

ParticipantSure thing! I’ll go ahead and post a Private Reply with the link to a download of the premium plugin, just to prevent people with less than savory tendencies from stealing the fine work of Eliot. Private reply with a link should appear right below this one.

ParticipantThanks so much for the reply and for looking into this. I have currently rolled my version of ACF back to 5.3, as suggested by Matt in the initial post. But, of course, not upgrading plugins is not really a long-term solution.
I posed the same question to Eliot over at ACF, but maybe someone here can offer a suggestion: Can you think of a way to, in addition to dequeue-ing the select2 from tribe, doing an enqueue that uses the version of select2 from ACF or another more modern version? Just wondering if there is a fix that we can implement before the new release gets pushed out.
Thanks, again, for you attention and your help with the dequeue-ing funciton.

ParticipantThis has caused a problem for me, too! Totally broke things for my clients. PLEASE have the developers fix this as soon as possible OR give us some instructions for how to prevent the select2.js library from loading!
(Many thanks for the tip on downgrading to 5.3. Trying that now)

ParticipantThanks a ton for your help with this. I really appreciate it. Once I got the word from you that ACF was working ok with the new version, I dug deeper into my functions.php and found the offending code that was actually causing the error (it was a change to the sorting on AJAX that I was doing… But I no longer needed). Once I removed it, things were back to normal and everything is working expected.
Thanks a TON for getting me to look in the right place. I really appreciate it.
Cheers!

ParticipantAnyone have any idea what could be happening with this? I’d love, at least, a good idea of where to look for what might be breaking the functionality that was working before this.
