    Thank you Sky.

That’s what I though but just wanted to check if I missed anything.

    Thank you for your help.

    Thanks
    Florian.

I’ve added my vote to the feature request and have taken note of the links provided. We’ll get our dev to look at this and do his magic.

    Thanks Cliff.

    Cheers,

Thank you for your reply Cliff.

Correct me if I’m wrong but http://www.swahsn.com/events/past loads http://www.swahsn.com/events/list/?tribe_event_display=past, yes?

Well, it’s good that it’s works but it’s not quite good enough as it involves a lot of scrolling and clicking.

We would like to scan past events easier and faster. Hence why we like the [tribe_events_list} shortcode. Here it is with upcoming dates http://www.swahsn.com/past-events-archive-test/

This would be perfect for an archive but it doesn’t display past dates. Is there anything we can do to achieve this or similar?

    Hi Hunter,

Good point regarding the 30day money back guarantee. I’ll keep that in mind.

Let’s see how things pan out.

    All the best,
    Florian

    Hey Hunter,

Thank you for getting back to me. All noted.

I will keep an eye on the changelogs and release notes but, to be honest, there’s often so much info on products / issues unrelated to us that I find it hard to sift through and identify the particular update on the bug fix that we require. I will my best try and avoid opening a new support ticket but might have to. If there’s a better way of reaching out to you to get an update of the bug fix then please let me know.

In the meantime, would it be possible to trial your Eventbrite plugin? Our client has now pretty much abandoned your Events Ticket Pro plugin. They still use Events Calendar Pro for the listing though and link through to the Eventbrite website which is not ideal. So we’re weighing up our option and thoroughly and properly testing your Eventbrite plugin would be of great help.

    Cheers,
    Florian

    Hello Hunter,

I accept Modern Tribe’s decision to use JS functionality in order to generate the appropriate number of field sets. What I don’t accept is that it is possible to order tickets without filling out required fields.
Irrelevant of whether JS is enabled or not, it should not be possible to add tickets to the basket and place an order without filling out required fields.

This is a huge bug for us and I would like to request again that this bug be fixed.

I refer you again to the thread from July 2016 (see link to this thread in my post above) where this bug was raised and Cliff from Modern Tribe states: “I’ll mark this ticket as Pending Fix.”

    Regards
    Florian

    Hi,

So we did a bit of testing and it appears that the behaviour is caused by JavaScript being disabled. We managed to replicate the issue by disabling JavaScript. I searched your forum and Bruce has the same problem (https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/need-javascript-warning/).

Would you able to us give us a solution or at least indication as to when this issue might be fixed. Our clients are getting a bit nervous as the event in question has 190 attendees and the lack of attendee data has the potential to cause chaos on the day.

    Regards,
    Florian

Hi Hunter, The bug is intermittent and therefore highly unlikely to be caused by a conflict with a theme or other plugin.

We are not able to replicate it every time and is random in nature. IF the bug was being caused by the theme or another plugin or the env then surely the bug would happen with every order would it not?

I can supply login details for you to log into our live site and see for yourself what is happening.

Just to reiterate, The required Attendee data is getting lost on some orders. Orders should not be able to be submitted without this Attendee data.

    Thanks

    Hi George,

Sorry for late reply – I’ve been away.

That’s what I thought. I’ll check with the Beaver Builder folks and hopefully they can help.

Thanks Geoff for getting back to me and the good and the bad news 😉

I’m looking forward to the next release of the plugin along with the fix. And will also look into downgrading to an earlier PHP version.

We upgraded to PHP7 as it significantly increased speed of the site.

    Thanks,
    Florian

Thanks George for getting back to me.

I found the link to the plugin on this page: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/fast-forward-list-widget-to-next-upcoming-event/

Thanks for checking if this is the latest uptodate version.

I will in the meantime contact Beaver Builder people as well to see what their take is on this.

    Thanks,
    Florian
