Ok, that makes total sense. That redirect option was one solution we discussed, but I wasn’t sure it was necessary. Thanks for confirming all of that.
We will watch for a shortcode option for TEC in the future – hopefully that would also be applicable to embedding list views. Fingers crossed.

A million thanks for such a fast response as well. I greatly appreciate it.It appears we have a theme conflict. What are the steps needed to rectify this? We are using a Builder child theme that has been customized, but it has been playing nicely with The Events Calendar for over a year now. Any ideas as to how we might troubleshoot this, now that we have it narrowed down?

The check boxes for the ‘All Day Event’ and ‘Google Maps Link’ further down on the form work just fine.
I have been trying to make changes in the templates as suggested. I copied all of the Community Events files into my child theme.
my-theme/tribe-events/community/src/views/community/edit-event.php (etc.)When I make changes, they aren’t showing on the pages.
In Events > Settings – ‘Community’ tab, there is an area you call ‘Community rewrite slug. It says…
‘The slug used for building the community events URL – it is appended to the main events slug’Are you saying this only rewrites on the front end events submission pages? Or does this append the actual events as well?
As far as the URL for community events, I just didn’t see any need to change the /events/my-new-event/ URL.
