ParticipantHi I have tried the Bulk Delete tool which does work, but it only deletes about 20 or 30 events at a time before crashing the server. I then need to restart the server before I can get back into wp-admin.
I have backed up the database using phpMyAdmin so am able to restore.
If you could provide an SQL query that would be fantastic. We would like to delete ALL old events, keeping today and future events.
Thank you!

ParticipantHi, what specification server etc would you recommend for this many events please?
Currently it has 16GB RAM with 16 Cores.

ParticipantI have spent over 30 hours on this and cannot get this to work. I have paid for plug-ins for export and import and getting fed up with the lack of support offered by anyone.
I have imported in the order suggested but nothing links together.
I would pay for a solution from you guys to do this, I’m surprised one isn’t available.
Please are you able to help?

ParticipantHi, I have purchased ‘WP All Export’ and ‘WP All Import’.
The tool has allowed me to export all events, images, venues and organizers.
The issue is none of the data has been linked, i.e. the Events don’t have an Image, Venue or Organizer.
Are you able to offer any advice please?
Thank you,
Dean

ParticipantHi, I appreciate this is outside your normal area of support. Thank you again for offering your assistance!
Can I please ask, do I need to backup and restore tribe_events, tribe_venue, and tribe_organizer together in order to keep the data intact?
I did find a plugin which seemed to work, however when I checked the data, the events did not contain venues or organizers. This was despite the fact that the venues or organizers had been restored. I suspect this is because one table was backed up and restored at a time?
Please let me know.
Thank you,
Dean

ParticipantHi I have tried each one of the tools you have suggested and none of them have worked. Some time-out on Export and some time-out and Import.
We have modified php.ini but to no avail. My knowledge is limited in this area.
I have been doing this for 12 hours now and getting very frustrated.
I have looked at phpMyAdmin and cannot find the tables you have mentioned? Presumably I need to run an SQL Query but not sure on syntax?
There are thousands of events with associated images. I need to do a complete migration.
Any further help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

ParticipantThe Import / Export didn’t work because the file size is too large.
I plan on using phpMyAdmin – what tables do I need to backup please?
Thank you

ParticipantHi thank you changing the Events Template to ‘Default Event Template’ rather than ‘Default Page Template’ solved the issue!

ParticipantHi I have been through the ‘Testing for conflicts’ document.
The conflict exists with ALL plug-ins enabled when using the Cherry Framework. The conflict does not exist when ALL plug-ins are enabled but using the default 2014 theme.
I feel confident therefore that the conflict is between The Events Calendar Pro and the Cherry Framework 4.0.5.1 theme.
I have tried Googling the issue as you suggested, there are fixes for other plug-ins when used with Cherry, but I can’t find any fixes for The Events Calendar.
I have looked through the Themer’s Guide but am struggling to understand it?
I am sure this is probably something simple but don’t know where to start?
Please can you help?

ParticipantWe downgraded to version 3.10 in order to rectify. If we upgrade to the latest version the Photo View stops working!

ParticipantWe have downgraded to 3.10 and it is working for now. Unsure what the issue is?

ParticipantI have checked the site more thoroughly and the Events still are not working.
If you view Categories which are loaded with events you cannot view as Images.
Here are a few examples:
http://www.pontefractandcastleford.co.uk/events/category/a1-football-factory/
http://www.pontefractandcastleford.co.uk/events/category/halloween/I have carried out the following:
– Reverted back to the default 2013 theme.
– Disabled ALL plug-ins except the Event Calendar ones
– Changed Permalink settings to /%postname%/Please note that each time I change this it takes considerable time changing it back as the widgets appearance changes considerably, the settings are not retained.
I do not know how to downgrade the plug-in because the Events Calendar plug-in is not available for download from your site, only the Pro version is available.
This is causing my business harm as a number of website users have emailed me, and we don’t know how to fix.
We are able to provide FTP and website admin credentials.
Please advise.

ParticipantSorted. I de-activated all the Events plug-ins and deleted all files. I re-installed and it worked.
Dean Spencer
ParticipantCan you please let me know how to install an older version? It worked perfectly on v3.11
Thank you

ParticipantHi, I reverted back to the default 2013 theme and disabled all plugins. The ‘View as Photo’ worked. I re-enabled all plug-ins and it still worked. I reverted back to the theme we use but something strange has happened:
When we go to http://www.pontefractandcastleford.co.uk/events it shows the 2013 theme?? I tried clearing the cache and I also tried on another computer? When you click ‘View as Photo’ from this 2013 page it works as expected.
I have tried disabling the Events Calendar plug-ins and re-enabling them.
Please help?
