February 18, 2014 at 5:35 pm in reply to: Backend- "Search Events" functionality not working #106272Aaron MaretParticipantyes, i disabled all TEC plugins and then reactivated them one by one.
my site is live, with a fair amount of visitors so i don’t think switching the theme is an option.
however, i do have a clean test install of my site with just TEC plugins and my theme. when i switched to the default theme on the test site, i see that the search functionality works fine. but when i activate my theme, it no longer works. so it does seem like it’s a conflict with my theme (not other plugins).
does this help clarify what i need to do to resolve the issue?

ok, i’ve double checked and see that all my plugins and wordpress core files are indeed the latest versions. they are:
WP: 3.8.1
TEC: 3.4.1
TEC Pro: 3.4
TEC Community Events: 3.4i’ve also tried disabling ALL plugins other than the 3 TEC plugins. that had no effect on the issue. do you have any other ideas?
Aaron MaretParticipanti checked that setting and it was set to “The co-luminate Team” and i changed it to “No Default” and it did the trick. thanks!
Aaron MaretParticipantthe desired functionality is working on the TEST install. i’m needing to get it working on our live site. please see my first post.
Aaron MaretParticipanti have changed the settings to allow non-logged in users.
Aaron MaretParticipanti have a test install here:
http://co-luminate.com/test/events/community/add/
the display:none style rule is present when a saved organizer is chosen in the drop-down.
what i’m trying to achieve is have “Use New Organizer” display by default. this is how i have my settings, but the form defaults to “The co-luminate Team” for some reason.Aaron MaretParticipantnope, that didn’t work either. how do i post code snippets? i tried using the ‘code’ tags. that didn’t work.
how about this:

Aaron MaretParticipanti’ve been corresponding with the theme developer and this is what he proposed:
Hi, for not full-width page you need insert this class (you have a custom template for events calendar pro? )Aaron MaretParticipantthanks for clarifying. yes, i have tried both of these settings. it doesn’t seem to make any difference.
Aaron MaretParticipantyes. that is how it is set.
any other suggestions?Aaron MaretParticipantthis is how it is currently set:
