I tried to remove the key (save), enter it again (save again), but it didn’t do the trick.

Ok I figured it out.
And the winner is… “Subscribe to comments” 🙂
This is perhaps a blessing in disguise, finally, since I intended to replace that old extension by something newer.
Anyway, thanks for your support Josh.

There’s something new that I just realised : actually the events page displays properly when I am logged in the WordPress admin, but I have the error message when I log out. So it has nothing to do with browsers (cf. my first message), and yes, it seems the issue is linked to a kind of permission setting.
Then, I thought about checking the plugin CHMOD permissions via the FTP, but I didn’t see anything wrong, comparing a site which works with the site which does not…
Also, I deactivated the plugins, without success.
Tonight I will try another theme to see if this issue has something to do with the theme but I doubt it because I use the same theme (and plugins) on all my 3 sites :

Hi again,
I have downgraded to version 3.9 but the issue is still there.
I tried to switch the license keys of two sites (which are both valid), same problem : “You may not access this page without a valid key.”
Any idea ?
