May 16, 2014 at 2:53 am in reply to: Page title changes to undefined when event bar on event list page submits #163280AdamParticipant
Hey Integrity,
Just wanted to say thanks for figuring out the strange, nonsensical requirement of keeping tribe_events_the_header_attributes() in order to keep your title from saying ‘undefined’.I dislike and don’t understand the need for it, but it solved one of the two major issues I’m having with the plugin at the moment.
Thanks again.
April 21, 2014 at 3:50 pm in reply to: how to use tribe_get_events_title() on non-plugin-based template files? #138897AdamParticipantis there some sort of documentation as to what’s happening with the javascript stuff? Some event that fires after the info refreshes, or something I can hook onto?
AdamParticipantmaybe a dumb question, but have you tried refreshing permalinks? Any time I install a new plugin and get 404s when I don’t expect them, that’s the first thing I try.
AdamParticipantThanks, Barry. Appreciate the quick response.
AdamParticipantIs it possible to just turn off the AJAX stuff? The raw urls work perfectly i.e.
/events/upcoming/
/events/past/
including displaying the proper text where I have “echo tribe_get_events_title()” in the header of my theme. On the AJAX versions of the URLs, in addition to the other buggy behavior, it doesn’t update the header on AJAX refresh ( echo tribe_get_events_title() ) so it still says ‘upcoming events’ when it’s showing past events, etc.AdamParticipantDespite following the instructions on your website and going to account central > downloads, where it lists 2.0.11 with a link to ‘download’, I’m not able to download. Clicking the download link I get redirected to a page that says:
Hi. I bet your were hoping to download something awesome.
Perhaps the meaning of life? Perhaps a 50c Ringtone? The sad news is that for whatever reason, that isn’t going to happen right now.
Either you don’t have a license for the product you’re trying to download, it expired, or something went horribly awry with our system.
Don’t freak out! We can help you:
[link to our support forum & twitter]I assume the issue is that It lists my license as ‘expired’ as of a month or so ago. Given that the site is now broken until I am able to update to the fixed plugin 2.0.11, I am keen to get that download. What is the intended course of action? Do you intend for me to have to pay for a new license in order to download a non-broken version of the plugin? Or is there a way for you to grant me access to the new version as-is? I would certainly appreciate having a functional plugin.
AdamParticipantI would like there to be an easy way to specify the zoom level of the embedded google map(s). On a per-map basis would be best but a global option would be better than nothing.
Right now, it looks like it’s hard-coded to display at zoom level “8” but that’s too far zoomed out to be useful on the site I’m working on.
Ideally you’d implement this as an optional input field on a per event basis, with the ability to set a “default google maps zoom level” under “customize defaults” on the events calendar settings page…
December 18, 2011 at 4:02 pm in reply to: + Google Calendar button – not working and a problem with Hebrew #12500AdamParticipantHi Rob –
The Google Calendar button is AWESOME! …but…
I can 2nd that the Google Calendar link doesn’t always work on my site either. I’ve noticed that if I create a test event with a really short post content in WordPress, then the google calendar button works perfectly, populating the event’s post content to the google calendar description field. But many of this site’s events may have a couple paragraphs of text typed into the event’s post content box in WordPress. On those event’s pages, the google calendar button attempts to pass the full content of the post/event in the URL, causing google to return the following error:
“414. That’s an error.
The requested URL /ServiceLogin… is too large to process. That’s all we know.”So my guess is the OP’s problem may not be hebrew/english, but rather a LONG post (his first example) vs a short enough post (2nd example).
Can you verify this and let us know a solution? Thanks!
