That worked perfectly! Thank you.
Anthony D’ArcoParticipantCould I potentially do this using a theme override? I don’t really feel comfortable doing what you just described, but if I can do it via theme override I think I could handle this.
Anthony D’ArcoParticipantI apologize, maybe I don’t understand what that setting is supposed to do. It blocks users from seeing the WpAdmin? I want them to not be able to add events to the form on the front end: http://www.sparkcommunity.org/events/community/list (although you won’t be able to see it, but you should get my gist.).
How do I protect THAT page from certain user rolls?
Thank you,

Thank you for the update, and yes, I will de-activate the grid view, and keep an eye out for a resolution.

Thank you for the quick reply. I have a short code on nearly every event, do I need to remove the shortcode from all events for this to resolve? Also, do you have a time-table for the fix at all?
Thank you,
AnthjonyAnthony D’ArcoParticipantShoot, I meant to mark this as resolved.
Thank you,
AnthonyAnthony D’ArcoParticipantAlright, I’m an idiot. I swear I double check that the user was an editor, turns out upon triple checking they weren’t. Thank you for your help this link will still prove to be useful.
Thank you,
AnthonyAnthony D’ArcoParticipantSo, the plugin didn’t work. Here were the roles that I found, are these all the roles required?
$role_object->add_cap( ‘edit_tribe_event’ );
$role_object->add_cap( ‘read_tribe_venue’ );
$role_object->add_cap( ‘read_tribe_event’ );
$role_object->add_cap( ‘read_tribe_organizer’ );Thank you,

Thank you,
AnthonySeptember 20, 2014 at 5:28 am in reply to: Adding Custom Field to Month View Breaks the Mobile Calendar #754794Anthony D’ArcoParticipantThis worked perfectly! It funny I was actually doing it correctly, but I thought I needed to pass my custom field as a slug so I was using ‘venue_rooms’ instead of “Venue Rooms;” silly me. All is right in the world again.
Thank you,
AnthonySeptember 18, 2014 at 6:56 am in reply to: Adding Custom Field to Month View Breaks the Mobile Calendar #750595Anthony D’ArcoParticipantI apologize one last note in my confusion:
I followed your instructions in single-event.php, but I can’t figure out where to add the initial php to setup the data or if I’m even doing it correctly. Can I add it right to the tooltip.php?
Thank you,
AnthonySeptember 18, 2014 at 6:46 am in reply to: Adding Custom Field to Month View Breaks the Mobile Calendar #750581Anthony D’ArcoParticipantSorry,
I actually found where I need to add the custom field, but now I’m not sure how to do it:
in month/tooltip – line 26 is perfect, but I’m not sure how to add this. I’m not a JS expert really at all.
Sorry,
AnthonySeptember 18, 2014 at 6:24 am in reply to: Adding Custom Field to Month View Breaks the Mobile Calendar #750542Anthony D’ArcoParticipantBrook,
I just looked, I must have not noticed that you updated the template structure for the tooltip (because it looks pretty different than how it did before). Can you guide me to which file I need to update to actually change the tooltip correctly?
Thank you,
AnthonySeptember 16, 2014 at 6:19 am in reply to: Adding Custom Field to Month View Breaks the Mobile Calendar #746233Anthony D’ArcoParticipantJust thought I would shoot you a quick update. I tried removing the if statement, so the code is now only:
<?php tribe_the_custom_fields( get_the_ID() ); ?>
However, I’m having the same issue. I should mention that we are running a pretty standard Genesis theme (not sure if that will help or not).
Thank you,
