Moderatormwsebesta,
Check out The Events Calendar Housekeeper. I can vouch for the developer 😉

ModeratorBarry, I found a solution. I send an email to pro (at) tri.be.

Moderatorpickleshy, it appears that the theme style.css is loaded later and therefore has precedence. However, I wouldn’t count on that. It also appears that TEC and ECP will now autoload tribe-events.css stylesheets after their respective plugin’s stylesheets. Unfortunately that means that if you have overrides for both TEC and ECP your ECP override might not work as ECP appears to load it’s stylesheets after TEC loads it’s stylesheets as well as your overrides.
I have created a plugin, The Events Calendar User CSS which will load your overrides as close to dead last as possible. What that means your /{my-theme}/tribe-events/tribe-events.css will take precedence over the built-in TEC and ECP stylesheets.

ModeratorDamon, is there something specific about The Events Calendar Category Colors plugin that isn’t working for you? It seems like it should do exactly as you need. Try it. Let me know what doesn’t work or if you have questions.

Moderatorpickleshy, be careful about putting CSS overrides in your theme’s styles.css as the load order of the Events Calendar stylesheets may be later than your theme’s stylesheet and then all of your overrides will be overridden.

ModeratorI know you have The Events Calendar plugin activated. Do you have The Events Calendar Category Colors plugin activated.
Can you send a screenshot of your Events Calendar Settings page?
Andy Fragen
ModeratorAre you sure the Category Colors plugin has been activated?

ModeratorPhil, the current version of The Events Calendar Category Colors will do something like this. For an example look at http://tribe.drfragen.info

ModeratorHey Barry,
Yes, that helps a lot. I wasn’t sure where to look for the hooks. I think they’ll work great and I’m implementing them in Category Colors now.
Only missing part at the moment is category class tags in the Venue widget, consider another feature request.

ModeratorIf this is on a Multisite installation there is an Settings > Events Settings under the Network Admin that has the license tab.

ModeratorAs soon as this bug, https://tri.be/support/forums/topic/3-3-1-week-view-with-incorrect-category-class/ is fixed, you can use The Events Calendar Category Colors plugin, http://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar-category-colors/ to colorize the week view.
A quick example is at http://tribe.drfragen.info/events/week/2014-01-26/ The bug is causing all the events to have the same coloring.
Andy Fragen
ModeratorNo worries, as long as it’s in the list.

ModeratorNetwork activating The Events Calendar and The Events Calendar Pro solves this issue. I received an update notification and updated successfully.
Thanks Chris.
Andy Fragen
ModeratorI take it that simply network activating ECP won’t solve this? If so, why?
